aesthetic. Established in 2012 with the launch of a range of decorative Portuguese Fado
guitars and the World Architects furniture collection, Malabar has released to date a

Abandoning the rules of right and wrong, most recently Malabar launches the Future
Classic’s collection that is all about to move, to shock, to offend, or to be fabulous in

Malabar design and handmade production stems from the Porto area, a northern

is the FILIGREE, a technique as ancient as the year 2500 B.C. Bent and twisted fine threads
of metal are shaped into lace-like designs. Very tiny spheres are also used, welded with each
other. Specially used in goldsmithery, filigree is carefully handcrafted due to its
delicacy, which results in graceful ornaments.
