Introduction
Mindset is something that you hear successful people talking about all the
time, mainly when reflecting on their own journey. For most people, the
term just flies over their head; the old adage ‘in one ear, out the other’
springs to mind. That’s because it can be extremely difficult to
comprehend the link between the state of your mind and overall success.

But, it’s vital that the mind is appreciated for exactly what it is – a
powerful tool capable of influencing absolutely everything. If you don’t
take mindset seriously, that’s when you develop a bad one and quickly
succumb to the pressure of our demanding society. You’ll start plodding
along with zero ambition, accepting what you have and never pushing for
more.

Now, we’re not going to tell you there’s a substitute for hard work
because there isn’t. However, bolstering your mindset will empower you
to add forward direction to that hard work, rather than grafting without
progression. Slight tweaks to the way you think can be the difference
between phenomenal success in life and entering retirement with an
abundance of regrets. Don’t worry, though, because we’re not going to
let the latter happen.

This E-Book will discuss everything you need to know about mindset. Once
you’ve absorbed the information and stored it as knowledge, we’ll then
teach you how to use that to transform your mindset and improve your
life significantly.

Of course, you’re reading this E-Book because you’ve decided enough is

enough. You want to achieve more, but your head isn’t in the right place,
and you desperately want to discover how to condition your mind to think
like a successful person, right? That’s great! Commitment lays the
foundation for change. But, the only thing that will actually result in
change is taking action.

4
So, we implore you to not read this E-Book for the sake of reading but
read with the intention of integrating all of the tips into your life. It may
not be easy, but with time and dedication, you’ll start to notice serious
differences.

5
What is Mindset

Theodore Roosevelt – one of the most influential men in American history

– once stated, “Believe you can, and you’re halfway there.”

See, having belief that you can achieve something is a fundamental

element in actually becoming successful. But, it’s something that you
need to obtain right at the very start because belief kickstarts a chain
reaction, which in turn develops your mindset. So, once you have belief,
the rest will just flow from there.

In fact, it was the great mind of Mahatma Gandhi that broke down this
chain reaction:

“Your beliefs become your thoughts. Your thoughts become your words.
Your words become your actions. Your actions become your habits. Your
habits become your values. Your values become your destiny.”

If you haven’t heard of the law of attraction, then it’s also a critical part
of your mindset. It’s something that thousands of successful people live
by to boost their chances of accomplishing their goals. Essentially, it’s the
art of consistently – maybe obsessively – picturing yourself with the life
that you desire.

By thinking, believing and envisioning success in your life before you’ve

even achieved it, you’ll end up acting differently. The “real” images in
your mind will push you to be relentless, dedicated and unceasing in your
efforts. Subsequently, you’ll stop at nothing to ensure your inner goals
materialize.

The simplest way to understand mindset is to view it from a basic

perspective. It’s believing you can become successful, thinking in a
successful way and always acting in a way to put you in a successful
position. On a deeper level, it’s the inner beliefs, assumptions, and views

6
we hold about the world and ourselves, then the attitudes we hold based
on those.

But, from a complex perspective, it’s tying different emotions, attitudes,

and habits together to forge a positive mindset. Moreover, mindset is
built on an array of different mental functions. So, the best way to
explain it is to divide it up into different aspects; aspects that decipher
the purest principles of mindset and describe them in unique ways.

Experiences

From previous experiences, our mind automatically creates our mindset.

So, every experience you have throughout your life – bad or good – will
contribute to your overall mindset. The wonderful part about that is, new
experiences can help shape the way you think for the better, as fresh
distinctions can form new mindsets.

If you want to improve your mindset, then it’s a wise idea to learn how to
manage your emotions. Why? Because if you can handle situations in a
positive way, things won’t register as negative experiences so much.

Adaptability

At the heart of mindset is adaptability. The world is forever changing,

throwing new hurdles at you to overcome and presenting new
opportunities. So, if you aren’t open to shifting your mindset every time
you face something new, you’ll become stuck in a negative rut that is
extremely difficult to escape from.

But, it’s also crucial to recognize that mindset can shape our lives.
Thoughts, actions, and experiences can emerge from the state of our
mind, so it’s a case of both adapting to life and monitoring how mindset
can impact your life.

7
Habits

Arguably, habits are the number one principle of mindset, because it

relates to the way we naturally think, act and view the world. Habits are
often formed through prior experiences in life and encounter with other.
In essence, your habitual thought process has a direct correlation with
what you’ve been through and your opinion on world events.

Though they may be natural and often subconscious, they can definitely
be manipulated in a way that benefits you more. All you need to do is
refresh the way you think and digest data in your mind, and you’ll be able
to create better habits and a stronger mindset.

Wisdom

Developing a better mindset isn’t all about self-gain, it’s also about
increasing the impact you can have on those around you. You see, with an
incredible mindset that’s been honed using knowledge, experiences, and
positivity, comes a powerful amount of wisdom. With wisdom, you can
encounter other perspectives, views, and opinions without the need to be
overly skeptical.

Resultantly, you can replace feeding your ego with a world-centric

approach. This means helping others goes hand-in-hand with your own
personal success, rather than achieving goals at other people’s expense.

World

This one leads on nicely from our last principle because utilizing our
mindset to benefit others can easily be scaled up to have the world at the
forefront of your mind. What does that mean? Well, those with excellent
mindsets are able to laser-focus on their own personal goals, gain wisdom

8
to positively affect others and put their own stamp on the world with
ease.

In terms of the world, we’re referring to actively pushing for change in

both your own society and the larger population. For instance, if deep
down you care about women’s rights, entice that to the surface and be a
supporter of them.

Resistance

Let it be known that shifting your mindset is definitely possible; it’s a

common occurrence for people to do so all across the globe. But, that
doesn’t mean it’s an easy feat. Like with any type of change, you will be
met with some resistance. In this case, it will be your own mind that tries
to curb your mental evolution.

When you attempt to create a new set of attitudes, your mind will rapidly
retreat into its comfort zone. This means it will search for any
recollection of your pre-existing views, beliefs, and opinions, then will try
to reaffirm them in your mind. Stay strong and embrace change.

Tunnel vision

So, in layman’s terms, your mindset is a set of attitudes that you possess
which are founded on experiences, beliefs and mental traits. But, who
said that those attitudes make your views of the world and life correct?
It’s crucial that you avoid being narrow-minded by just looking at the
world through your mindset-tinted glasses.

The more you acknowledge alternative opinions and explore factual

statements, the more wisdom and success you’ll acquire. Just remember,
your mindset is not full of concrete facts, it’s just the contents of your
own mind.

9
Development

A massive component of mindset is the ability to grow and progress off

the back of a love for learning. Too many individuals fail to leverage the
power of mindset by accepting their current attitudes and assuming
they’re set in stone. When, in actual fact, you can shift your mindset and
concurrently improve the way you think, act and chase your goals.

By doing that, you’ll provide yourself with a much larger chance of

success, both in your career and life. Open your mind to the possibility of
developing your mind, and you’ll be able to hone skills, gain knowledge
and accomplish so much more.

10
Why Does Mindset Matter?
Ahhh… good question; why does mindset really matter? Well, the answer
is pretty simple. With a strong mindset that contains a multitude of
attitudes that are beneficial in everyday life, you’ll be in an awesome
position to start achieving some success. But, the crazy part about it, is
that it will enable you to achieve success in a variety of different ways.

The secret to that is in a growth mindset. A growth mindset plays a huge

role in actually pushing you out of a hole, and into a life where you can
have fun, forge rewarding relationships, hone skills, discover new talents
and excel in the business world.

Here are some distinct benefits of a growth mindset:

Enhance relationships

The best relationships are those that have pure honesty and
communication running through them because those are the most
genuine. With a growth mindset, you’ll find other people that will
challenge you to become better, motivate you to attempt new things and
point out faults that you are making. When you appreciate those types of
people and benefit from them, you’ll improve drastically as an individual.

Not dwell on the past

An awful lot of people never reach their true potential, because they are
too busy fretting over a bad experience in their past. For instance, they
may never look to gain more qualifications because they failed their
exams in college. But, those with a growth mindset acknowledge that
those single events don’t define them, and they use that knowledge to
improve and progress.

Overcome hurdles
11
Similar to the last one, a growth mindset can help enormously when you
encounter setbacks in your life. Rather than viewing failures as something
to be feared, they view them as opportunities to learn. Once they’ve
processed the information and transformed it into knowledge, they’ll
then find the motivation to tackle it again to ensure they’re successful
next time around. Never use setbacks as an excuse to give up!

Increase confidence

Who doesn’t love a healthy dose of confidence? Confidence allows you to

believe in your own abilities, take risks that lead to high rewards and
form relationships that can change your life. Confidence could be
considered as a separate entity to mindset; those without a growth
mindset could still have high confidence. But, those with a growth
mindset retain their confidence when life gets difficult.

Learn more

The problem with a fixed mindset is that people are far too concerned
with trying to be a perfect human being that never makes mistakes and
always achieves their goals. As you’re probably aware, that only exists in
a fantasy world. With a growth mindset, people love the process of
learning, improving and achieving, instead of trying to be perfect. As a
result, that love of the process leads to learning more.

Embrace hard work

There are many aspects of achieving success, but hard work is up there
with the most important. Religiously pushing towards a goal – even when
you’re tired, exhausted and lacking motivation – is what separates the
truly successful from the average. Now, most people a daunted by the
thought of hard work because they know it’s often accompanied by tough

12
feelings. However, a growth mindset will empower you to enjoy hard
work and effort.

Long-term approach

This one is more geared towards the business world, but it can also be
applied to life in general. So, most successful people swear by the
methods that got them to the position that they’re in and are therefore
reluctant to ever change their ways. But, society is always morphing into
different trends, and those short-term methods may not work going
forward. A benefit of a growth mindset is that they have a long-term
approach and are excited by change.

Not fearing being bad

Within our world, there’s a countless number of activities, professions,

hobbies, sports, and pastimes that you’ve probably never thought of
trying. In the majority of cases – even when someone may want to try
something new – people refrain from venturing out of their comfort zone
due to the fear of being bad at it. The growth mindset removes that fear,
doesn’t care what others think and allows you to try new things.

Take responsibility

Responsibility is one of those things that people tend not to think twice
about, simply because it should come so naturally. But, sometimes people
forget – or choose – to neglect taking responsibility for their actions and
decide to blame others instead. By doing that, you’ll never be able to
evolve, learn and progress, because you’ll always be making excuses for
things that have gone wrong.

13
Ways Your Mindset is Keeping You Stuck

So, we’ve so far focused on all the ways that mindset can benefit you,
and the reasons to strive towards a positive frame of mind. But, it’s
important to also touch on the reasoning behind some people feeling
disinterested in life due to their mindset.

It may sound strange when you break it down, but your perception of the
world and your own life is your reality. That’s why your attitudes and
beliefs can – and will – determine how you generally feel about yourself
and towards others. So, it goes without saying that to achieve ultimate
happiness and your own version of success, you must first seek a set of
attitudes that are positive.

See, negative assumptions make you unhappy, defeatist attitudes prevent

you from exploring your potential, and stubborn views stop you from
gaining wisdom. Here are some alternative reasons why your mindset is
keeping you stuck:

Wrong over right

If you’re someone that is constantly finding everything that’s wrong with

the world, wrong in your life and wrong in certain situations, then you’re
going to end up very unhappy. Concentrating on the wrong breeds
negativity, whereas trying to find the little bit of good in everything will
lead to happiness.

Failures over victories

Yes, failures are part-and-parcel of life; no-one miraculously glides

through life without ever experiencing a setback. But, dwelling on
failures and letting them define you is not a smart idea. It’ll take up all
of your focus and energy and will prevent you from celebrating the
victories that you have.

14
Don’t overdo

The rise of social media has exacerbated the problem of wanting what
you don’t have, but it’s a problem that has been there for decades. Too
many people forget to be grateful for all the amazing things that they do
have in their life and choose to be unhappy with the materialistic things
that they don’t have.

Fantasy over truth

Accepting the truth – no matter how difficult that may be – is an effective

way to move forward, improve yourself and find success. But, if you’re
someone that never likes to face the truth, and instead opts to ignore it
or even create a fantasy in your mind, then you’ll never be in a position
to grow.

Shift Your Mindset, Change Your Life

As we’ve gathered by now, mindset is something that can be shifted, but

only if you are serious about changing your life. That may sound
overwhelming or extreme, but believe us, the power of your mind can
honestly have a substantial impact on your life.

Of course, breaking free from your existing mold and challenging your
current assumptions, attitudes and beliefs will be difficult. No one is
saying it’s going to be a walk in the park. But, by doing so, you’ll become
a better model of yourself, you’ll make loved ones smile more, and you’ll
achieve more success within your particular career.

Mindset should never be underestimated, nor should it be obsessed over.

Becoming bogged down with your inner thoughts will only have the
opposite effect to what you’re gunning for. This tends to happen when
people know that they need change but have no clue as to what to
change to.

15
So, to provide you with some inspiration and guidance, we’ve put
together some healthy types of mindset:

Nothing is impossible

Automatically assuming that something is impossible is totally naïve and

will eliminate any possible chance of you ever being successful. Why is it
naïve? Well, because crazy things have happened all throughout history,
and have proved that the most insane propositions are in fact possible. A
man on the moon, televisions, and airplanes are all beneficiaries of
someone believing nothing is impossible.

So, just imagine what you could achieve in your life if you just believe.
That dream job you’ve always wanted, but have always felt you’re
underqualified? What’s stopping you from gaining the qualifications,
applying for the role and being accepted? Nothing! Whatever you put your
mind to you can achieve, which highlights the strength of this type of
mindset.

Always do the right thing

Once you’ve solidified the idea in your mind that you’re going to shift
your mindset and become a better version of yourself, you’ll find it much
easier to do the right thing. Sometimes, doing the right thing isn’t always
a popular choice, but sticking to your guns will aid your development and
bolster your mindset.

Let us give you an example. Let’s say you’re endeavoring to get a

promotion at your company and you’ve got an important deadline to hit.
But, your colleagues and friends want you to go out for a drink; you
would love to, but you’d love the promotion even more. Despite being
nagged and persuaded, a strong mindset will empower you to say “no,”
because it’s the right thing to do.

16
Never fear

If you fear failure, you’re not the only one. Millions of people around the
world relinquish their dreams, ignore glaring opportunities and accept
less than what they’re worth because they’re scared of what could go
wrong. But, accepting your strengths, weaknesses and composing a plan
to improve your set of attitudes allows you to feel complete.

Subsequently, you’ll not fear failure anymore, because you know if the
worst-case scenario occurred and you lost everything, you could continue
progressing. You’ll no longer consider failure as a daunting prospect that
will destroy your life. You’ll see risks as brilliant opportunities to either
succeed and be incredibly happy, or experiences to learn from for future
situations.

Be happy for others

Will Smith once said – “I want to do good. I want the world to be better
because I was here. I want my life; I want my work, my family, I want it
to mean something. It’s like if you are not making someone else’s life
better, then you’re wasting your time. Your life will become better by
making other lives better.”

See, when you care about other people’s lives as well as your own, you’ll
find a new level of happiness. Jealousy and envy are the catalysts of
negativity, and hoping for other people to failure will only hinder your
own life. So, if you don’t listen to us, take some guidance from Will
Smith: be happy in making other people’s lives better, and that starts
with wishing for their success.

Be open minded

Being open-minded isn’t just spontaneously going for a meal in a

restaurant you’ve never been to before or acknowledging someone else’s
opinion on the off-chance. It’s consistently appreciating that there are
17
other views, beliefs and values in this world that could well be correct.
Moreover, it’s agreeing that you’re not always right; both in terms of
other people challenging your thoughts and your own mind being a non-
believer.

It’s also about never having regrets over the things that you decide to do,
but having regrets over the times, you don’t take action. When you’re
open-minded, you allow yourself to discover new hobbies, absorb more
knowledge, gain valuable wisdom, learn new skills, form beautiful
relationships and just live a little. We urge you to release your vice-like
grip on your existing beliefs and give new things a chance to register in
your mind.

Commit to learning

An outstanding faction of mindset is learning, hence why we paid special

attention to the growth mindset earlier on in the E-Book. Committing to
learning is so powerful, but very few recognize it. Once you develop a
hunger for absorbing knowledge, developing a deeper understanding of
things and finding fresh ideas, nothing will ever faze you. Negative
situations become learning experiences, so you always feel like you’re
winning.

Now, once you reach that point, you can then develop even further by
sharing all of your knowledge. When you have stories to tell, skills to
teach and information to give, other people will be able to benefit from
it. When you’re mindful of other people and are making their lives better,
more success will come your way.

Take action

Eradicating your fear of failure, embarking on a journey of self-

development and becoming dedicated to learning is all pointless if you
never apply what you’re gaining. It’s like getting a passport but never
leaving your hometown – complete waste of time, huh? So, it’s imperative
18
that you utilize all of what you learn by taking action in some way or
another.

If something doesn’t work out, you reassess and find a solution. As long as
you’re always trying, you’ll always be progressing. For instance, let’s say
you’ve been researching how to create a bee yard so you can pollinate all
of your crops and collect scrumptious honey. However, you feel you don’t
have the experience to actually carry it out – nonsense! Apply all of that
information you’ve gathered and gain experience by actually taking
action.

Don’t take the easy option

Our society has brainwashed us into just accepting the ‘norm’; go to

school, gain a degree, get a job and pay your bills. But, for many people,
that doesn’t actually make them happy. They give up on their dreams and
ignore their inner desires because society tells them to be told what to
do. Why? Because it’s zero hassle, allows you to blend in with the crowd
and lead an easy life.

What happened to your dreams? What happened to expressing your own

personality? What happened to finding our own happiness? What
happened to aligning yourself with what you stand for? See, when you
acquire the mindset of never taking the easy option, those fragmented
ideologies become transparent, and you see straight through them. You
don’t bow down to society. Instead, you’re brave and take your own
route.

Take opportunities

When you shift your mindset and possess more positive attitudes, you’ll
broaden your horizon in terms of your views on the world. By doing that,
you’ll get rid of the tunnel vision and replace it with a perspective that is
always on the lookout for progression and development opportunities. In
fact, you’ll start to notice opportunities that are right there staring you
19
in the face; opportunities that have always been there but have just been
overlooked.

You see, with a better mindset, your selective attention will home in on
the things you want the most. Your goals, your desires, and your values
will take priority. Whereas previously you’d be wasting energy on things
that didn’t matter, you’ll now target things that will benefit your life,
even if that means taking a risk.

Utilize your time more efficiently

A strong mindset relates to living intentionally, and by living intentionally,

you’ll destroy all of the unnecessary things that claim energy, time, and
effort. In a nutshell, you’ll steer clear of individuals that cause conflict,
gravitate towards those that share your vision and join a path that heads
directly towards your goals.

As your schedule will now be streamlined, you’ll have much more time on
your hands. You can then use that spare time to spend quality time with
your family and friends, gain more knowledge and look after your health
through nutritional eating and fitness. When you’re able to allocate your
time to things that matter the most, happiness is the only thing that will
emerge.

20
Action Steps for Making the Mindset Shift
Starting to understand the benefits of shifting your mindset? Great! But,
we haven’t finished just yet. Yes, we’ve outlined everything you need to
know about mindsets; what mindset is, how it can prevent you from
achieving success and types of mindset that you should be aiming for.
Now it’s time to actually provide you with some actionable tips and tricks
that you can start incorporating into your life right away.

These clear steps will leave you with no excuses, so you should be able to
put this E-Book down and begin shifting your mindset. Slight
exaggeration… it will take some time to notice the differences, but as
long as you take action, keep progressing and never stray back to your
pre-existing attitudes, you’ll be just fine.

Anyway, here are 15 action steps for making the mindset shift:

Start small: A superb way to alter your mindset is to begin by setting

goals that can easily be achieved. They may not set the world alight, but
at least you’re conditioning your mind to be successful. For instance, if
you want to become healthier, start by eating one apple a day and going
for a 10-minute walk. Super-easy, yet super-effective for shifting your
mindset.

Understand “why”: It’s extremely difficult to break existing habits,

but it’s much easier if you understand why you’re trying to break them.
When you determine your motivation behind it, you’ll have extra fuel to
make the necessary changes. If you want the mindset to get to the gym
every day, then figure out the “why” first. For example, has your doctor
told you you’re overweight and at risk of chronic disease?

Reverse your thoughts: Sometimes, you need to force your mind to

change. That may sound like an aggressive technique, but your mind
won’t budge without some heavy pushing. An effective way to do that is
21
to establish your biggest negative thoughts, then reverse them into
positive ones. If you keep stressing over the color of your hair, go to the
mirror and repeatedly tell yourself it looks stunning and eventually it’ll
flow into your subconscious mind.

Make notes: When you’re trying to commit to learning, so you can

develop your attitudes and form new habits, you need to give your
memory some assistance if you want to be successful. All you need to do
is make a note of the information on your phone or laptop, so you can
recap at any moment. Alternatively, if it’s an article online, just
bookmark it.

Be decisive: The quicker you realize that you’re in charge of your own
destiny, the quicker you’ll be able to achieve your own goals. You won’t
rely on others to help you, you won’t assume the world owes you
something, and you won’t wait around for things to come to you. So, be
decisive and be confident in your choices.

Listen to your emotions: Emotions are a massive part of your mind,

and people experience a vast array of them on a daily basis. So, trying to
ignore your emotions is not going to play out very well. Instead, you need
to listen to your emotions, because after all, you’re experiencing them
for a reason.

Manage your emotions: Once you’ve tuned into your emotions, it’s
important to effectively manage them. Yes, your emotions mean
something, and they shouldn’t be tossed to the side, but sometimes they
can be more of an interference in certain situations. You need to learn
what your emotions indicate, then deal with them in a way that benefits
you. In the worst-case scenario, just remove yourself from the situation.

Assess failures: All throughout this E-Book, we’ve mentioned that you
need to eliminate your fear of failure if you want to shift your mindset.
But, in order to learn from setbacks and develop as an individual, you
22
need to understand why you failed in the first place. So, when you go
through failure, assess what went wrong and what you can improve on.

Celebrate success: A strong mindset is jam-packed with positivity, and

you aren’t exactly going to attain that by mourning your failures. So, the
best tactic to deploy is to learn from your setbacks but celebrate your
success. Whenever you experience a victory, make sure you reward
yourself for it. Even if it’s just a tub of ice cream!

Remember the end goal: Whenever you’re making decisions, jumping

at opportunities, forming relationships and taking risks, always have the
end goal in mind. Ask yourself whether your actions align with your
mission to accomplish your goal. That’s because it’s important to remain
on a direct path if you seriously want to be successful, and not getting
distracted by unnecessary choices. If you do make a bad decision, don’t
worry, just make sure the next decision makes up for it.

Have a plan-B: Having a plan-B will help you overcome setbacks when
you encounter them. That’s why it’s important to conjure up an
alternative route just in case your desired plan doesn’t work out. By
doing that, you’ll be able to quickly forget about the initial failure and
focus on pursuing the next endeavor. It doesn’t have to be too detailed,
just come up with a rough idea of a plan-B before making decisions.

Create a to-do list: Creating a to-do list is a habit that tons of

successful people have because it allows them to contribute to their end
goal without deviating from the path. When you don’t have a schedule for
each day, it’s easy to procrastinate and do other things. So, create a to-
do list on the night of everything you need to do on the following day.

Stick to your to-do list: Compiling a to-do list is all well and good, but
you’ve still got to complete the tasks that you’ve included in it. There’s
no special method to get you to follow your to-do list, but if you truly

23
want to become successful and form new habits that will shift your
mindset, you’ll find the necessary motivation to do so.

Put hardest tasks first: A good idea when following to-do lists is to
prioritize the tasks. Most people will put their most pressing tasks first,
which is a logical idea. But, you also want the hardest tasks at the top,
too. That’s because once you’ve completed the task that you find most
challenging, you’ll find completing all the others must easier.

Be optimistic: Viewing the world, your life and challenging situations

from a ‘glass half-full’ perspective will empower you to find true
happiness and genuine success. You won’t be dwelling on all the potential
negatives; you’ll be searching for the positives and leveraging them to
improve your mindset.

24
Conclusion
There you have it, a whole E-Book dedicated to helping you strengthen
your mind, develop better attitudes and form new habits to ultimately
capture a successful life. Not only have we gone in-depth on what
mindset is, but we’ve also provided you with a ton of tips that you can
use to actually shift your mindset. At the end of the day, a more positive
mindset equates to more happiness, which is better for everyone, eh?

But, before we end the E-Book, we want to provide you with a recap of
everything you should have gathered and learned. Here are 10 things you
should take away from ‘Shifting Your Mindset for Greater Success in
Business and Life’:

1) Mindset is your perspective: Mindset is a set of attitudes that you

hold based on your perspective of the world, yourself and those
around you. Mindset is not concrete facts and just your sense of
reality. Therefore, you should always respect other views, beliefs,
and opinions. Better experiences can lead to a better perspective.

2) New habits can be formed: Although there’s a common conception

that habits are near-enough impossible to change, they’re actually
very simple to form. With some consistency and repetition, you
could remove an old habit and replace it with a beneficial one in no
time at all.

3) Successful people work on their mindset: Millions of successful

people have all made it to where they are thanks in part to a strong
mindset. They understand how their beliefs affect their attitudes;
their attitudes affect their thoughts, their thoughts affect their
actions, and their actions affect their success. So, if it’s important
enough for successful people, you should take note.

4) Learning leads to growth: By committing yourself to learning new

skills, absorbing knowledge, consuming information and improving

25
on setbacks, you’ll see significant growth as an individual. With
constant growth, you’ll always be bettering yourself and boosting
your chances of achieving your specific goals. Never stop being a
student, because knowledge is power.

5) Mindset can hinder your development: While it’s wonderful

knowing all the positive aspects of mindset, it’s also crucial to
acknowledge how a bad mindset can negatively affect you. By
always seeing the bad in situations, never accepting the truth,
focusing on what you don’t have and dwelling on the past, you’ll
quickly encounter unhappiness.

6) Never fear failure: A big thing to take away from this E-Book is to
never fear failure because missing out on opportunities due to that
fear will restrict your life. It may sound cliché but try to acquire the
belief that there’s no such thing as failure. Instead, there are just
opportunities to learn from mistakes, improve your ability and build
on your knowledge.

7) Be grateful for what you have: By celebrating all the good that you
have in your life, you’ll leave very little room for negativity. Too
many people are obsessed with what they don’t have and live their
lives in envy of the people that do have those things. That just
wastes energy and prevents you from finding your own happiness.

8) Care about others: Mindset doesn’t just revolve around improving

yourself by doing individual things. A large portion of shifting your
mindset to a more positive state involves being mindful of others. It
doesn’t cost anything to try and benefit other people’s lives in the
process of striving for your own success. Plus, it’ll improve your
happiness and make you feel great about yourself!

9) Wisdom is your friend: Wisdom can assist you in your journey to

success, but wisdom can only be gained once you’ve been through
setbacks, helped others and opened your mind to other views and
26
assumptions. You see, experience, knowledge, and judgment all
lead to wisdom. So, take risks in life, always be aware of
opportunities to learn and assess your actions.

10) Take responsibility: It's so easy to blame others for our downfall,
but it's not productive in the long run. Essentially, blaming others
creates a smokescreen in front of our own mistakes, which means
we can never improve on them. In turn, you'll keep making the
same mistakes over and over again. Whereas, by avoiding excuses
and taking responsibility for all of your actions, you’ll always be
able to grow.
