Overall Goal:
The proposal seeks to implore the youth of India to put their best foot forward by engaging in
volunteering programs in diverse domains offered by our Trust - Waves Women Empowerment
based in New Delhi. We effectively provide platforms to challenge oppressive norms and
conduct programs to increase self-confidence, and awareness about various topics that build
leadership among women in far flung areas including villages.
Background:
Knowing Waves-
Waves Women Empowerment Trust, was started in 2018 in New Delhi by Mrs. Kanta Sharma.
The NGO is committed to strengthen women in multi faceted manners possible; such as
emotionally, physically, mentally, and educationally in numerous states of India like Delhi,
Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, etc. With a demonstrated expertise serving causes concerning women's
empowerment and awareness, the dedicated team is uplifting women from all walks of life.
Every woman acts as a pillar of the family and is only not required to be strong but also to be
competent in shouldering the weight and responsibility of the entire family. We at WAVES
make special emphasis on stimulating the status of women through literacy, education, training,
and especially by providing awareness. We encourage whole and equal access to women for
education, literacy, and training, and we try to remove all hindrances that occur on their path
of success.

VOLUNTEER:
If you're looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to your community,
HERE WE ARE! As a non-profit organization, we rely on the support of dedicated volunteers
to help us achieve our mission. Our volunteer program requires a minimum commitment of
one week to six months, and we welcome individuals from all backgrounds to join us in making
a positive impact.
To become a volunteer, please take note of the following requirements. For on-field
volunteering, it is important to clearly specify the amount of time you are able to dedicate and
your area of interest. We actively seek volunteers who can assist us with organizing events,
fundraising, and supporting our campaigns. By working together, we can create meaningful
change in our society.
About the Internship: Hybrid
Commencement date: Immediate
Duration: 7 days [Minimum]- 6 months (Unpaid)
Roles and responsibilities:
If you have any skills in any field like teaching, yoga, dance, painting, language etc.,
you can provide any of the services in our campaigns, workshops, and projects.
Promoting the campaign: You will promote the campaign on social media and
WhatsApp. There is no set target for contributions.
Calling for volunteers: You will spread the word about volunteering opportunities and
forward the details of interested candidates.
Raising awareness: You will raise awareness about the cause you have selected.

The person needs to collect data and conduct surveys to support the organization's mission and
goals through various strategies.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
Responsible for generating and analysing the surveys
Develop survey methodologies and protocols to collect data on issues related to the
NGO's mission
Prepare reports and presentations that communicate efficiently
Ensure that surveys are conducted in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and
ethical standards
Liaise with program managers and other staff professionals as well as play an active
role in adopting new strategies
