Fleet street(1700s-1980s) is a street in london, it's another term for the newspaper in
the street
The fleet street is start in 18 century
- 1702: The Daily courant → the first daily newspaper → it was a only single

- 1805( middle of the 19 century) : Development of newspapers (because of a
social, economic reasons and technological developments)
● social 1870: education act, there’s more and more people who can
read so there's more potential customers. It's also a period of political
stability and that’s helps to people how passmore time reading

● economic: removal of taxation on papers, it's the beginning of
advertisements
● technological: the telegraph → they can write faster. the railroad →
mass circulation, you can transport more newspaper at the same time,
