Hot trend EXO! ‘Growl’ makes a clean sweep of 1st place on all music charts!
Following ‘Wolf’, EXO’s ‘Growl’ has conquered all music charts and come in first,
spreading like a strong gust of wind. As soon as it was released at noon on Aug 5, EXO’s
‘Growl’ had placed 1st on real time charts. The song was also the top hit for the day on 8
charts, namely Melon, Olleh Music, Mnet.com, Genie, Bugs, Soribada, Naver Music, and
Daum Music. Such placing further proves the immense popularity “hot trend” EXO has right
now. EXO’s 1st full album ‘XOXO(Kiss&Hug)’ Repackaged version was released on the
same day, and the Korean KISS version came in 1st place whereas the Chinese HUG version
came in 2nd place in terms of total sales volumes from Hanteo Chart, Hottracks, Yes24,
Melon and other online as well as physical stores, clearly showing EXO’s power and status
as the emerging album kings. The follow up song ‘Growl’ is a dance song that has an
Urban/R&B base sound. With memorable lyrics that express the growling wit displayed by
the boys so as not to lose the woman they love to another man and the choreography
resembling a dance movie, the dynamic performance will leave fans’ eyes and ears
captivated, and the EXO craze is expected to take over Korea.
