In continuation to this office letter 4 th&6th cited, where in copies of the
conditionally approved drawings of Block out & EM Parts of Gate, Gate Assembly and
Screw Hoist mechanism were communicated to CE?PIP duly requesting to furnish corrected
drawings for according final approval which are yet to be received.
Now, the design and drawings of Hoist Bridge received vide Lr1 s &7th
cited are examined with respect to the vetted civil drawings and the conditionally approved
Block out & EM parts drawing, Gate Assembly drawing and Screw Hoist mechanism
drawing and the following is submitted for favor of CE’s kind perusal and approval.
Design:-
The proposed longitudinal girders of the hoist bridge with ISMB 200 mm X 100
mm are verified.
The proposed cross girders of Hoist Bridge are proposed with ISMC 150 mm X 75
mm are verified.
Subject to the compliance of certain observations, the following
drawing showing the details of Hoist Bridge for Service Gates is verified and is herewith put
up for conditional approval.
Drawings:
1. Drg.No: PIP/OT/@KM52.32/MECH/04/2017 showing the details of Hoist Bridge.
Further the CE/PIP is informed as follows:
Suitable stiffeners, plates and angles are to be provided wherever necessary.
As this office approved drawings are only design drawings and not fabrication
drawings, separate fabrication drawings shall be prepared and get satisfied by the
competent authorities at their end and adopted.
Extra notes regarding material specifications are mentioned in the
drawing. Further, it is informed that the suitability of this drawing with respect to the field
conditions shall be ensured by the field authorities of the project before fabrication, erection
and execution. If there is any deviation, it needs revision and same is to be referred to CDO.
On approval, the copy of above conditionally approved drawing will be
communicated to the CE/PIP/DOWALAISWARAM with a request to furnish two sets of
drawings along with a soft copy in AUTOCAD format duly incorporating the corrections
indicated in the drawing.
Subject to orders, a draft letter addressed to the
CE/PIP/DOWALAISWARAM on the above lines along with copies of conditionally
approved drawings is put up for approval.

conditionally approved drawings of Block out& E.M Parts &Slide gate and Screw Hoist
Mechanism were communicated duly requesting to furnish corrected drawings for
according final approval, which are yet to be received. Now, the design and drawings of
Hoist Bridge Assembly of the OT@Km 52.320 received vide Lrs 1 st & 8th cited are
examined with respect to the vetted civil drawings and conditionally approved E.M.Parts
&Slide Gate and Screw Hoist Mechanism drawings and the following is communicated for
taking further action.
Subject to the compliance of certain observations the following
drawing showing the details of Hoist Bridge Assembly for the above OT is verified and the
drawing is conditionally approved.

This conditional approval does not preclude enforcement of
agreement conditions. Any variation in the agreement conditions should be taken care of,
by the field officers as the onerous responsibility lies on them. The copy of the above
conditionally approved drawing is herewith enclosed with a request to furnish two sets of
fresh drawings with signatures of field officers duly incorporating/attending all the
corrections/ omissions and remarks along with a soft copy in AUTO CAD format for final
approval. The feedback form now enclosed, may please be furnished duly filled with your
comments/suggestions.
