VII. THE EFFECT OF THE PASSIVE AUTOCONVERTING

PATTERNS

The effect of using auto-converters for neutralizing the

subtle field emitted by transformers can be stated from the
analysis of measurements performed over an underground
transforming station, an area where the magnetic field has a
flux density of 5 µT at the floor level. These measurements are
presented without the pattern in Fig. 6(a, b, c), and in Fig. 7(a,
