Nowadays celebrities are more famous for their glamour and wealth than for their achievements, and this
sets a bad example to young people.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Write about 300-350 words.
-----THE END-----
Outline:

It is true that super stars and idols in recent years have become well-known thanks to their charm and
extravagant ways of life rather than their accomplishments. While I agree some individuals can set a bad
example to teenagers, I believe there still exist celebrities who are a good source of inspiration and
motivation.

On the one hand, there are various reasons why teenagers should not follow many famous people. To begin
with, some celebrities were born and raised in affluent families. They have the tendency to depend financially
on their parents and lead a excessive-spending lifestyles. Consequently, the youth who admire these
celebrated individuals tend to underestimate the value of money and cannot understand the way to manage
their budgets effectively. Secondly, instead of conscientious working to move up the career ladder, they
mainly participate in a multitude of advertisements with luxurious items and clothes. For instance, celebrities
endorsement by famous TV stars is commonly used by companies to promote selling products. It is nor
surprising to see teenagers consume this manufactures to as an act for their idols. Most importantly , if
celebrities conduct negative behaviors in their lives, such as using drugs and motor racing, they are able to
create opportunities for young children to embark on a life of crime.

Despite the strong arguments expressed above, I still assume that a number of celebrities are excellent and
we could learn from them a number of good things. Actors , actrees and footballers have to develop their
skills from day to day, and live in difficult situations until they become star. As a result, they inspire some
teenagers to participate in some challenges to become the winner. In addition, these people also do some
volunteer work, and give a donation to some rural area to help the local people. Thanks to this, we all be
happy to receive an emotional support, and we therefore have a better social in the near future.
In conclusion, while I accept that some bad people become celebrities in wrong way, I do believe many
famous people could teach young childrren with good lessons.
