Task C

online behavior of people your age.
Looking at my groupmates chart and compare it to mine, it’s really close as people nowadays are very
busy through online platform, especially like as a student that faces pandemic which it makes the student
to use online platform in order to learn and also for creating projects and assignments.

1. Did your time spent online difer from your estimate?
- I think Yes because sometimes I can’t sleep so I stayed all night and I spend my time on my
phone until I get sleepy.
2. Were you surprised by the diference?
- I’m surprised by the time that I consumed while using my phone or laptop. I’m expecting 10
or less than 10 hours of using it.
3. Do you think the chart ofers a true account of your online behavior?
- I should say No, because this chart shows my estimated online behavior. Sometimes my
online behavior depends on the situation like there are many things to do in school-related.
4. Do you think you should change your online behavior? Give reasons to explain.
- I think yes because staying with this behavior will cost health issues and will afect my
academic performance because it has the potential to afect everything. As college student,
it is critical that we always have time to study, do our homework, projects, and other school-
related chores to avoid cramming. However, due to incorrect usage of electronics and a lack
of desire in time management, we prefer to leave our schoolwork behind because of our
gadgets.
C. Compare your completed chart with your groupmates. What conclusion can you draw about the
behavior of people your age?
- I and my members have almost the same thing in common- we mostly spend our time online.
D. How long could you probably last without digital technology? Explain your response
- I think I can last 2 to 3 days without digital technology because I’ve done this last year with my cousin. I
spend my time doing housework and physical activity and within these days being offline I’m not sure if I
can stay offline for more than 2 or days because I have responsibilities on social media like updating my
groupmates, family, and friends, and also I have an online class so I can’t stay offline more than 3 days.
Appendix A
When you look in a mirror, what do you see?
- When I look in the mirror I see myself trying to survive in college and I see in the mirror the
boy standing in front of it the tiredness can be seen all over his face.

Yes, if I am asked because at night I sleep so when I wake up in the morning, I have no energy
and no strong energy effect of wakefulness and another because of my waking up on the

C. Compare your completed chart with your groupmates. What conclusion can you draw about the
behavior of people your age?
As I look at the charts of my groupmates and I compare my chart with them it is very far
because i spend more time than them. Nowadays I can say that many are focused on gadgets
because of the pandemic which all young people today are used to study are gadgets, so we
also do not blame them because the online platform is what provides knowledge to young
students today.
D. How long could you probably last without digital technology? Explain your response
it's the whole day because sometimes our parents take our cell phone so we can have time outside
where we don't get soaked in the cell phone and so we don't have to stress over what the cell phone has
to ofer than talking to family or playing games with friends. it is personally what really gives us joy and

Task B.
1. Did your time spent online difer from your estimate?
- Yes, but not far of.
2. Were you surprised by the diference?
- I’m not surprised with the diference because I am conscious of how long I spend in my devices.
3. Do you think the chart ofers a true account of your online behavior?
- No, the chart does not ofer my exact online behavior because there were times when my time
spent online is very short and there were times when I spend a longer time than the chart.
4. Do you think you should change your online behavior? Give reasons to explain.
- Yes, I think I should really change my online behavior because there are times when I get so
immersed in it that I forget to take care of my self, for example, there are times when my eyes
are exposed to the screen for over four hours straight, and it is not good for my eyesight. I think I
should make myself a proper time schedule where I can enjoy my time online and rest my body.
Task C.
Compare your completed chart with your groupmates. What conclusion can you draw about the
behavior of people your age?
- Based on the completed chart with my groupmates, I can conclude that the people of my age really
spend a long time online using digital technology. With the Global pandemic started years back, most of
the people my age relied on the internet to attain education, work, and entertainment. This caused
people my age to spend more time online and it became normal to stay in front of the computer or any
devices for hours on end.
Task D.
How long could you probably last without digital technology? Explain your response
In all honesty, I could probably last about three weeks without the use of digital technology. This
is because I don’t really pay much attention to news unless it involves disasters in my areas. If digital
technology nowadays does not relate to education, then I could probably last longer. I usually use digital
technology for entertainment like digital art, watching videos, and playing games besides school
activities. For the first and second week I would be ok, then the third week I would miss the use of digital
technology, more than that then I would probably look for ways to have access to digital technology. But
if I have no access to digital technology for more than a year then I would probably get used to not
having any.

Task B.
1. Did your time spent online difer from your estimate?
- the estimate time is only the average of my online activity, sometimes the time I spend online
varies to the activity, and the pending and urgent tasks.
1. Were you surprised by the diference?
- I'm not shocked by the gap because I keep track of how much time I spend on my gadgets.
Do you think the chart ofers a true account of your online behavior?
- No, the chart does not reflect my actual online activity since there were periods when I spent
very little time online and other times when I spent much more. This proves my claim that my
online and screen time depends on my pending and urgent tasks.
1. Do you think you should change your online behavior? Give reasons to explain.
- Yes, I believe I should adjust my online behavior because there are instances when I am so
obsessed in it that I forget to look after myself. For example, there are instances when my eyes
are exposed to the screen for more than four hours at a time, which is harmful to my eyesight. I
believe I should set aside some time to enjoy my internet time while also resting my body.
Task C.
Compare your completed chart with your groupmates. What conclusion can you draw about the
behavior of people your age?
Comparing my chart to my groupmates chat is diferent because we have a diferent time frame in terms
of gadgets especially this time because we are in the mids of pandemic, the learning of students is in
their phones, laptop and computers.
Task D.
How long could you probably last without digital technology? Explain your response
Over all, I think I could go a week without using digital technology. This is because I only pay
attention to the news if there are natural disasters in my neighborhood. If today's digital technology had
nothing to do with Academics, I could probably stay a little longer. Aside from Academic activities, I
mainly utilize digital technology for entertainment such as making painting, viewing films, and playing
games. However, if I am deprived access to digital technology for more than a week or two, I will most
likely become accustomed to it.
