Before using your TV, please read these instructions completely, and keep this manual for future refer-
ence.
Carefully observe and comply with all warnings, cautions and instructions placed on the unit or described 
in the operating instructions or service manual.
The User Manual uses the following symbols to ensure a safe operation and prevent any damage 
to operators or properties:

Avoid using dropped or damaged appliances:
If  the  product  is  dropped  and  the  housing  is  damaged,  the  internal  compo-
nents may function abnormally. Unplug the connector immediately and contact

If any smoke or odor becomes apparent, unplug the connector and contact the 
manufacturer immediately. Do not try to repair the product by yourself.
Never use a damaged power cord:
Heavy objects, heat, or tensile force may damage the power cord and cause

Do not install the product close to smoke or moisture:
Fire  or  electric  shock  may  be  caused  when  the  product  is  installed  close  to

Fire or electric shock may be caused when the product is installed in a place

Insert batteries in accordance with instructions:
Insert the batteries with correct polarities (positive  and negative ). 
Incorrect  polarities  may  cause  breakage  and  leakage  of  the  batteries,  hurt 
operators and contaminate the remote controller.
Do not block or cover the vents:
Blocking  the  vents  may  cause  overheating  and  fire.  Do  not  install  the  prod-
uct  in  a  place  with  little  or  no  ventilation.  Never  cover  the  vents  with  towels, 
blankets or dusters.
Unplug the connector:

Use extreme care to make sure you are never in a position where your body (or any item you are 
in  contact  with,  such  as  a  ladder  or  screwdriver)  can  accidentally  touch  overhead  power  lines. 
Never locate the antenna near overhead power lines or other electrical circuits. Never attempt to 
install any of the following during lightning activity:
a). an  antenna  system;  or  b).cables,  wires,  or  any  home  theater  component  connected  to  an 
antenna or phone system.

On handling discs
*  Notes on discs
  Do not touch the playback side of the    
  disc.
Playback side
  Do not attach paper or tape to discs.
On cleaning discs
  Fingerprints and dust on the disc cause
   picture and sound deterioration. Wipe the 
  disc from the center outwards with a soft
   cloth. Always keep the disc clean.
  Do not use any type of solvent such as    
  thinner, benzine, commercially available
   cleaners or antistatic spray for vinyl LPs. It 
  may damage the disc.
On storing discs
  Do not store discs in a place subject to    
  direct sunlight or near heat source.
  Do not store discs in places subject to    
  moisture and dust such as a bathroom or
   near a humidifier.
  Store discs vertically in a case. Stacking or 
  placing objects on discs outside of their 
  case may cause warping.
*  Notes others
  The LCD panel on this TV is manufactured
   using an extremely high level of precision
   technology; however, an occasional pixel
   (dot of light) may display constantly on the  
  screen.
  This is a structural property of LCD 
  technology and is not a sign of 
  malfunction.
  Such pixels are not visible when the picture
   is viewed from a normal viewing distance.
  LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) may cause
   interference in image, sound, etc.of the 
  other electronic equipment that is easy to
   receive electromagnetic waves (i.e. AM 
  radios and video equipment) under certain  
  installed condition. In particular, it may 
  affect electronic equipment beyond the 
  residential until where a LCD TV is used.
  The screen on this TV is manufactured    
  from glass. To prevent damage, never 
  strike the glass with a sharp or heavy    
  object.
  Your LCD television contains a small    
  amount of Mercury. When the television is
   no longer useful, please follow local 
  electronic waste guidelines for proper 
  disposal.
  If you have the LCD screen facing to the 
  sun, the LCD screen will be damaged. 
  Locate the TV in the place such away from
   windows side or out side of the rooms with  
  windows.
  This product is designed for indoor use

Notes on region numbers
This DVD player is designed and 
manufactured for playback of 
region 1 encoded DVD software. 
The  region  code  on  the  labels  of  some  DVD 
discs  indicates  which  type  of  player  can  play 
those  discs.  This  unit  can  play  only  DVD  discs 
labeled 1 or ALL. If you try to play any other 
discs, the message Check Regional Code will 
appear on the TV screen. Some DVD discs may 
not have a region code label even though their 
playback is prohibited by area limits.
  13.  Unplug this apparatus during lightning
    storms or when unused for long periods of  
    time.
  14.  Refer all servicing to qualified service 
    personnel. Servicing is required when the
    apparatus has been damaged in any way,  
    such as power-supply cord or plug is 
    damaged, liquid has been spilled or 
    objects have fallen into the apparatus, the
    apparatus has been exposed to rain or

1. Before use
  The product is a 27 WXGA (WXGA resolution) 
  LCD TV/DVD Player Combo. It has passed the
   UL and cUL safety certifications, and is an 
  ideal product for personal and commercial 
  use. The product is a precise electronic 
  product. Users should read the following 
  instructions carefully to maximize the 
  performance and life span of the product: 
  -  The product is packaged in a carton 
    together with other standard accessories.
     Any optional accessories shall be packed  
    separately in another carton.
  -  Due to the size & weight of the product, it is
     recommended that it should be moved  by a
     minimum of two people.
    -  The protective glass and the glass substrate
     are installed on the front of the product. 
    Since both glasses can be broken and 
    scraped easily, move the product gently. 
    Never place the unit with the glass facing
     downwards unless it is protected with soft 
    pads.
  -  When opening the carton, check that the  
    product is in good condition and that all  
    standard accessories and items are included. 
  -  Whenever possible, use the handles on the
     back of the Display for transport.
  -  Please use caution if wall mounting this  
    product. Follow all directions from the
    manufacturer of the wall mount and be sure
     to securely fasten the product to the mount.
     While the TV can be wall mounted, improper 
    wall installation may void the warranty.
  -  Due to the higher power consumption, 
    always use the jack exclusively designed for  
     this product. If an extended line is required,  
    please consult with your service agent.
    -  The product should be installed on a flat 
    surface to avoid tipping. The distance 
    between the back of the product and the 
    wall should be maintained for proper 
    ventilation.
    -  Avoid installing the product in the kitchen,  
    bathroom or any other places with higher  
    humidity so as not to shorten the service life  
    of the electronic components.
    -  Please ensure the product be installed 
    horizontally, any 90 degree clockwise or

    -  To protect the screen and avoid screen burn, 
    do not hold on a static picture for a long
    time.
2. Product Features
The 27 LCD TV/DVD Player Combo provides qual-
ity  image  displays  and  is  suitable  for  a  variety  of 
multi media applications:
  1.   Available input signals
     - The standard PC module provides VGA 
    (D-SUB 15 PIN), and a RS-232 (D-SUB 9  
    PIN MALE) communication connector.
    The product supports PC mode image 
    resolutions up to (1024 x 768@60Hz) 
    with a vertical frequency of 60 Hz. (The 
    VGA input may not be supported some of  
    the PC Display Card.)
     - The Video module provides composite 
    video (RCA), S-video (DIN 4 PIN) and 
    component video (RCA) input connectors.  
    It supports the quality input images of 
    DVD and HDTV (480P/720P/1080i). The
     Video module also provides one set of 
    Stereo Audio output.
    - The TUNER Module 
    The RF input terminal is for ANTENNA 
    and CABLE TV channels.
  2.   Power Management Function
    The machine provides an automatic power 
    control function.
  3.   WXGA LCD TV Panel
    The WXGA LCD TV panel provides high  
    resolution and high contrast image. The 
    number of pixels is 1366 (H) x 768 (V). 
    The contrast is 1000:1.
  4.   Build in slot-in DVD player
       This LCD TV build in a slot-in DVD player, 
    and compatible for DVD/CD format disc.  
    (The DVD player may not be supported  
    some of the disk.)
  5.   Others
   -  The LCD TV unit provides cool, middle,  
    warm and user color temperature options. 
    The user may customize their favorite 
    color temperature.

 (Play/Pause): Press to play or pause the disc.

   Subtitle: Press to select desired DVD subtitle.
   Audio: Press to select desired audio track.
   Setup: Press to display a menu. Press it again 
    to exit menu.
   Angle: Press to select desired viewing angle of 
    the Video (disc feature).
   Title: Press to display to DVD disc title.
   DVD Info: Press to display DVD information.
Note: Press CH / on the remote control can turn on 
TV set from last preview mode.
  - Turn the remote control upside down, press and slide off the battery cover.
  - Insert two 1.5V (AAA) batteries into the compartment, take care to observe the  and  markings   
  indicated inside.
  - Replace the cover and slide in reverse until the lock snaps.

  - Avoid spilling liquids on the remote.
  - Avoid dropping or otherwise jarring the remote.
  - Always store the remote control at dry and normal room temperature place.
  - If the remote is nor performing satisfactorily, replace the batteries. The batteries should be replaced 
  after one year.
  - If the remote control will be idled for a long time (above 1 month) take out the batteries to avoid    
  leakage from the batteries.
  - Clean up the entire remote control especially the battery compartment if any leakage  found.
  - Do not mix using different kind of new and used batteries together to avoid leakage.

Switch off LCD TV and external equipment before con-
necting cables.
1.   Connect a DVD player or other equipments    
  Component Video Out (Y,Pb,Pr) to the LCD TVs 
  corresponding Component In (Y,Pb,Pr) terminal.

2.  Connect a DVD players Audio Out to the TV
   Component L/R terminal.
3.  Press Power to turn on the LCD TV. Turn on 
  external equipment also.
4.  Press Source to select COMPONENT signal 
  source.

1.   Connect to the LCD TV s Coaxial Out to the 
  Audio Amplifier Coaxial In terminal by a coaxial

2.  Press Power to turn on the TV. Turn on external
   equipment also.
3.  Press Source to select DVD signal source, and set  
  the Audio Amplifier to coaxial input mode.
4.  When DVD is playing, you can enjoy coaxial 
  digital audio by Audio Amplifier.

Connecting the Computer
Switch off LCD TV and external equipment before con-
necting cables.
1.   Connect a computers VGA Out to the LCD TVs  
  VGA In terminal.
2.  Connect a computers Audio Out to the LCD TVs  
  Audio In terminal.
3.  Press Power to turn on the LCD TV. Turn on 
  external equipment also.
4.  Press Source to select VGA signal source.
Connecting the DVD or VCR player devices 
Switch off TV and external equipment before connecting 
cables.
1.   Connect a DVD or VCR players Video Out to the  
  TVs Video In terminal by a Video cable.
2.  Connect a DVD or VCR players S-VIDEO Out to 
  the TVs S-VIDEO In terminal by a S-VIDEO cable.
3.  Connect a DVD or VCR players Audio Out to the  
  TVs L/R terminal by a Audio cable, in this stage,
   the S-VIDEO and VIDEO is sharing this L/R Audio  
  in channels.
4.  Press Power to turn on the TV. Turn on external
   equipment also.
5.  Press Source to select AV or S-VIDEO signal
   source.

Note:  When  Turn  off  by  Timer  setting?  wording  will  appear  remain  one  minute  on  before  shutting  off,  you  can 
press  <  or  >  button  to  selected,  press  Enter  to  confirm.  If  select  Cancel  or  no  operation,  the  LCD-TV  will 
automatically turn off after one minutes, if select OK, it will turn off immediately.
5. Basic Operation
  The Display is in Standby mode. 
    - Press the Power   on the remote control or on the  
     control panel to turn on the unit. The power 
     indicator changes from red to green.
    - Press the Power   on the remote control or on the
      control panel again to return the display to 
     standby mode. 
     The power indicator changes from green to red.
Note: For protecting your LCD TV product, the interval
        time between turn on the LCD TV product and 
       shut down it should be kept at least one minute.

  Learning about the menu system
  After you have installed the batteries and programmed the remote control, you will need to set 
  some preferences on the LCD using the menu system. You can access the menu using the buttons 
  on your LCD TV or remote control.
  The OSD menu displayed in the following sequence (circular display):

  functions. You can use these functions after entering the correct PIN code.

     Blocking Reset status:

    increase or decrease by 1 for each pressing excluding the skipped channels.

    bigger than 100, just press the three number buttons successively. The time interval should not

You  can  arrange  the  playback  order  of  tracks  on

  time you press the Display button, the OSD  
  changes as follows:

 -  Stop Playback

    At this time the DVD video player stops
     playback temporally and maintains the 
    current playback position.
     If you Play/Pause (   )  is pressed,

    playback fully. (At this time if you press 
    Play/Pause (   ) button, the disc 
    playback starts from the beginning.)

 -  Selecting camera angles
If the scene was recorded from multiple angles, you 
can  easily  change  the  camera  angle  of  the  scene 
you are currently watching.
  .  Press the Angle button during playback.
  .  Repeatedly press the Angle button to 
    select the desired angle.
Note:
   You can only change the angle for DVDs that
   provide multiple angles of scenes.
  The angle function will not work on DVD video
   discs that do not contain scenes recorded at 
  different angles.
  The number of angles varies from disc to  disc.
 -  Disc OSD Language Selection
The on-screen display can be shown on the screen 
in your specified language.
  Press the Setup button and then use ,  
  buttons to select OSD LANGUAGE.
  Press the Enter or  button and then the , 
   buttons to select your desired language.
  All the on-screen displays will appear in the
  selected language.
  Press the Setup button to exit this menu.
 -  Digital Audio Output
You can select the output for SPDIF.
  Press the Setup button and then use ,  
  buttons to select DIGITAL OUTPUT.
  Press the Enter or  button and then the , 
   buttons to select SPDIF OFF, RAW or PCM
   ONLY.

 -  Screen Saver
The screen saver appears when you leave the DVD 
player in stop mode for about five minutes. After an 
additional  five  minutes,  the  DVD  Player  automati-
cally turns itself off.
About DVD Screen Saver
If you pause or stop a picture of a DVD video disc 
and leave it still for approximately 10 seconds, the 
screen saver of the player automatically appears.
To turn off the screen saver, press any button related 
DVD on the remote control.

 -  Last Scene Memory
This player memorizes last scene from the last disc 
that  is  viewed.  The  last  scene  remains  in  memory 
even if you remove the disc from the player or turn 
off  the  set.  If  you  load  a  disc  that  has  the  scene 
memorized, the scene is automatically recalled.
Note: This player does not memorize the scene of a 
disc if you switch off the player before commencing 
to play the disc.

  - When the signal received by the Display exceeds the allowed range, a warning message shall 
  appear on the screen.
  - You can confirm the input signal format from the on-screen. 
9. Cleaning and Simple Troubleshooting
 1 Important:
  - Make sure that the power cable is removed from the AC outlet before cleaning the product.
  - Do not use volatile solvent (such as toluene, rosin and alcohol) to clean the Display. Such 
  chemicals may damage the housing, screen glass and remote control, and cause the paint to peel.
 2 Cleaning of Housing and Remote Control:
  - Use a soft cotton cloth for cleaning.
  - If the housing or remote control are seriously contaminated, use a soft cloth moistened with diluted  
  neutral clean the Display. Wring water out of the cloth before cleaning to prevent water from 
  penetrating into the housing. Wipe the Display with a dry cloth after cleaning.
 3 Cleaning of Screen:
  - Use a soft cotton cloth to clean the screen gently.
  - The screen glass is very fragile; so do not scrape it with any sharp object. Do not press or tap the
  screen to avoid cracking. When the screen is seriously contaminated, use a soft cloth moistened 
  with diluted neutral cleaner to clean the Display. Wring water out of the cloth before cleaning to    
  prevent water from penetrating into the housing. Wipe the display with a dry cloth after cleaning.
