                                         My Holiday
During the much-awaited vacation period, my daily routine followed a pattern characterized by
late awakenings, usually around noon. The morning ritual unfolded in an environment imbued
with tranquility, where the gentle sound of birds inhabiting the surroundings melded with the
serene silence of home. The waking-up process often occurred gradually, with the first rays of
sunlight seeping through the curtains and gently caressing my face. The alarm clock, which
typically dictated the schedule on days of activity, assumed a merely decorative position, relegated
to the background in the face of the freedom provided by the vacation.
After waking up, breakfast was replaced by a leisurely lunch, where the aromas and flavors
of dishes prepared with care filled the house, inviting me to enjoy an extended meal, without the
urgency imposed by everyday rush. The afternoon then unfolded into a sequence of deliberately
idle moments, where time seemed to stretch, allowing me to immerse myself in leisure and
contemplation activities. The comfort of the sofa became my favorite refuge, welcoming me in a
comforting embrace as I indulged in the pleasure of a restorative nap.
However, the scene of tranquility was unexpectedly interrupted in the second week of the
vacation when an invitation to play soccer with friends sparked a new enthusiasm in me. The
afternoons previously filled with silence were replaced by the excitement of the games, where
competitiveness and camaraderie intertwined in a frenetic dance on the field.
One day, during those memorable vacation weeks, I had a close call while playing soccer with my
friends. We were engrossed in the game, the adrenaline pumping as we chased the ball across the
field. Suddenly, in the heat of the moment, a powerful kick from an opponent caught me square on
the shin. The impact was intense, and it sent shockwaves of pain through my leg.
For a moment, everything seemed to freeze as I crumpled to the ground, clutching my
throbbing leg. The pain was excruciating, and I feared the worst as my friends rushed to my side,
concern etched on their faces.
Thankfully, after a few agonizing minutes, I managed to gather my composure. Despite the
pain, I was relieved to find that no serious injury had occurred. With the help of my friends, I
slowly got back on my feet, albeit with a noticeable limp.
Although the incident was frightening, it served as a stark reminder of the risks involved in
sports, even during leisurely activities. Nevertheless, I brushed off the close call, eager to return to
the game and make the most of the remaining vacation time with my friends. One day, during

As the vacation drew to a close, a sense of nostalgia was present, mixed with gratitude for
the experiences lived. The tranquil routine of the beginning gave way to memories of laughter and
fun shared with friends. However, as I closed my eyes on the last night of vacation, a feeling of
fulfillment settled in my heart, recognizing that, although ephemeral, those two weeks were filled
with precious memories that would endure far beyond the rest period.
