WSET Level 2 - Spirits
A knowledge-building course for intermediate learners or serious enthusiasts wanting to
explore liqueurs and spirits further. It teaches production methods, raw materials, and
other factors influencing the spirit styles besides displaying the correct serving methods
and use of spirits in cocktails.
WSET Level in Spirits is an intermediate-level course aimed at helping learners
enhance their knowledge gained during Level 1. It uses a combination approach of
tasting and theory to educate participants about production methods, raw materials, and
usage of spirits.
Enabling learners to build upon the knowledge gathered over WSET Level 1 in Spirits,
the Level 2 Certification allows them to scratch beneath the surface. Serious industry
professionals and enthusiasts alike are able to understand, through tastings and subject
matter, the complex production methods, ideal raw materials, and use cases of spirits,
such as their extensive application in cocktails.

Examination:
You have 60 minutes to complete the exam which comprises 50 multi-choice questions.
Pass with Distinction: 85% and above
Pass with Merit: Between 70% and 84%
Pass: Between 55% and 69%
Fail: Between 45% and 54%
Fail unclassified: 44% and below
