1. Measure the oil level with the engine running at low idle. The oil level must be between the ADD and the FULL marks on the
dipstick.

Do not fill the tank to the top. Fuel expands when it gets warm
and can overflow.

Fill the fuel tank at the end of the day to drive out moisture laden air.

Drain moisture and sediment from the fuel tank at the start of each shift or after the tank has been filled and allowed to stand for 5 or
10 minutes.

(3)Radiator

At Operating Temperature, engine coolant is hot and under


pressure.

Steam can cause personal injury.

Check coolant level ONLY when engine is stopped and radiator


cap is cool enough to touch with your hand.

Remove filler cap slowly to relieve pressure.

Cooling System Conditioner contains alkali. Avoid contact with


skin and eyes to prevent personal injury.

Inspect the coolant level. The level must be to the bottom of the filler neck.
