Two.Condition Monitoring

In order to better manage the entire system, system design for monitoring
the status of all terminals and all the playback status, or on-demand status

56
Network IP Audio System

monitoring, the monitoring process, the system administrator can play in real
time to understand the content and the work of various states of the terminal.
First of all, explain a few terms: session, multicast / unicast..

Session: Session is the first media data services (MediaService) provide data stream

to the broadcast terminals, radio terminal will process the data back into voice. According

to the initiator of the session, it can be divided into different sessions of on-demand

broadcast and broadcast session. Broadcast session is initiated by the active media data

services, which can simultaneously send data to the specified number of radio

terminals;on-demand session actived by the remote control of the terminals, it only sends

data to the remote-controlled radio terminal. The priority of the session, broadcast session

has priority than on-demand session priority. Therefore, if the terminal is receiving data

from a broadcast session, the user can not perform on-demand operations; the other hand,

if the terminal is receiving data from an on-demand session may be a higher priority radio

conversation may inset, turn to receive a broadcast session data, after the broadcast

seeion, on-demand sessions return to the previous programs. Thus, the important school

notifications and the school bells will be able to broadcasted to every classes in time.

Multicast / Unicast: Multicast and unicast UDP packets are two means of

transmission of UDP packets.Multicast is a one to many ways, a data packet can be sent

to a number of network equipment, significantly saves network bandwidth; Unicast is a

one-way. Broadcast sesson adopts multicast transmission of data and on-demand

sessions adoptes unicast transmission of data.

1. Session State

Session state is the system file broadcast, site broadcasting and on-demand

real-time status monitoring. In the "session state" window, you can see the details of the
