Last Friday I went to school with a bald head. There, my friends greeted me with
looks of awe, roar of laughter and plenty of cheeky comments that could have burnt my ears
off for shame.

It all happened when I noticed that my hair had grown too long. It was touching my
collar Mr. Teoh would not like that, I thought Mr. Teoh was our school’s discipline masters.
My father was overseas. He usually cuts our hair. Thinking, I would get a cut at the barber, I
got ready to go. But my sister stopped me saying, “Why waste so much money when I can
do it for you free for charge?” I was not sure that she could do it, but I thought it would save
me the walk. I was feeling lazy that afternoon.

So, she started sniping my hair with a pair of scissors. Halfway through, I came out
of my lull and panicked. I saw the mirror that things were not going very right. But my sister
insisted she had not finished yet and told me to be patient. At the end of it, when I saw
myself in the mirror, the effect was ‘hair-raising’. My beautiful hair reduced to nothing more
than a haphazard havoc! I had no choice but to go to a barber this time.

When the barber saw me, he laughed. And then he told me that there was no other
way but for him to shave my head bald.

I walked home in the afternoon sun and felt the bristles on my head. Then, I felt
something else. Wind. Cool wind was caressing my head. I could truly feel its coolness all
about my head. It was wonderful.

The laughter and the smart remarks aside, I now think that being bald is really not so
bad after all.

such as a city, into sections called cells. Each cell has a tower for receiving and sending out
radio waves. If a caller travels from one cell into another, the call switches from tower to
tower. This means that a cell phone can work anyplace that the cell-phone company’s

Nowadays, children behaviors are influenced by television, plain strangers, friend,

and family members.

First, one influence that has a major effect on children behavior is television. Believe
it or not, television plays a big role in how kids act. Cartoon characters like Power Rangers
or Spiderman can make children want to fight. It means they are so easily influenced by
television.

Second, children may also be influenced by people they don’t know. Although most
children are taught not to talk to strangers, we would be surpassed how many actually do.
Studies have shown that both boys and girls talk to strangers and they are more likely to do
what the strangers tell them. Sometimes, kids are influenced by their friends. Friends are
people who are so close to children, and they are people that children trust.

Third, kids are mostly influenced by their parents, because parents are people that
kids really mostly trust. They tend to be like them. Parents play a big role in children’s life.
If a kid sees his or her parents fight all the time at home, it will probably make him or her

The following text is for question 34 to 36.

Skyfall offers a plot that actually seems a lot more realistic than many previous films,
but still entertains you in a thoroughly enjoyable way. Craig is faultless and any skepticism
people had when he first took on the famous character in Casino Royale has been proved
utterly unnecessary. It surprised me to learn that despite this being the seventh time that
Dench has played M, we as the audience know so little about her background and what goes
on under her sharp-tongued and abrupt exterior.

The battle of Skyfallat the end, is just fantastic and showed how amazing a simple
scene of only three important characters can be, if done properly. There isn’t enough space
to say how impressed I was with Bardem as a baddie, who despite that horrendous blonde
hair managed to be a thoroughly terrifying and complex bad guy.

Skyfall is one of those films you just need to see. Yes, it is quite long, but at no point
will you find yourself glancing at your watch as the film doesn’t give ypu the chance,
