This pattern is written in ENGLISH using crochet terminology common in the USA.
La pera = The pear

SIZE: 7 x 6'' (18 x 12 cm)


ABBREVIATIONS:
(with the yarn and hook that I used)
° ch: chain/chains
DIFFICULTY: ° dc: double crochet
° dec: decrease
° FO: Fasten Off
MATERIALS: ° hdc: half double crochet
° inc: increase
° GREEN and some PINK yarn (I used 100% ° PM: place marker
cotton). ° Rnd/Rnds: round (s)
° sc: single crochet
° Crochet HOOK (I used a 3mm)
° sl-st: slip stitch
° SAFETY EYES (I used 10mm) ° st/sts: stitch (es)
Note: If you don´t have safety eyes, you can
use buttons, felt, felting or embroider the eyes. SYMBOLS:

° Yarn NEEDLE, SCISSORS and STUFFING.

Instructions are written to work in spiral


(continuous rounds) so I recommend using a
marker at the beginning/end of each round.
Leaves The total amount of stitches per round are
at the end in ( ). Stitches that are meant to
be worked as a set are in [ ] followed by an
Stem x and the number of times to be repeated.

Work as follows to close the stem and join the
leaves:
Only the leaves are made separately. Stem and 1. Fold the piece in

Finish adding more stuffing if neccesary and


using a yarn needle, close the end and weave
in the tail. Also, use the tail of yarn we left on
the stem to close the tip.

LAST DETAILS
Adjust the leaves, one to each side of
the stem .
To make the cheeks, use PINK yarn and
needle to embroider 3 french knots on each
side of the eyes. You can see the
