OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY

Objectives of this working experience scheme is to giving a student

to acquire the practical knowledge and skill of what he/she has

been taught theoretically in school.

To enable the student acquire skill experience to their area &

discipline.

graduation.

CHAPTER ONE

1.0 INTRODUCTION TO SIWES

The Student Industrial Working Experience (SIWES) was

Established in 1971 as a body of federal ministry of labours and

productivity with 22 branches all over the country with its

Headquarter situated at JOS Plateau State.

The student industrial work experience scheme (SIWES) is a skill

training program designed to expose and prepare student of

universities, polytechnics/colleges of technology and colleges of

education to real life work situation after graduation.

The scheme is for student of science related course

engineering and technology includes environmental studies.

1.1 DEFINATION OF SIWES

The student industrial work experience scheme can be define

as the skill training program, which funds part of the approval

minimum academics standard in the various degree (Diploma/NCE

Program) of all Nigeria tertiary institutions.

1.2 PURPOSE OF SIWES

The purpose of SIWES is to expose students to equipment

professional work methods and ways of safe guarding the work

areas workers industry’s and other organization.

1.3 AIMS AND OBJECTIVE OF SIWES

1. Provision of avenue for students of tertiary institution to

acquire industrial skills and experience in their course of

study.

2. Provision of opportunity to student in order to apply their

theoretical knowledge in real work situation their by bridging

the gap between class work and actual practices.

3. Preparing students for the work situation they are likely meet

after graduation.

ROLE OF ITF: the purpose of this study is to determine the

contributions of industrial training founds (ITF) to employee

training and development in nigeria.

which will half the cooperative societies to enhanced growth and

development in the societies.

ROLE OF ORIGINATIONS: once a company has established,

how function is grouped, then formations most organization

create roles to perform these functions.

Telecommunications, journalism, banking, etc the computer has

made life much eager’s. It is broad spectrum of computing (i.e

study, development and professional practice) that is referred to

as information technology (IT).chapter two

2.0 INTRODUCTION

Our life style have under gone a sea change with the advancement

in technology especially in the filed of computers. Computer are an

fixed at part of out life style today and are found at offices, homes,

school, colleges, hospital, and shops etc this advance in technology

has ,ode our lives easy and comfortable. For instance we can

execute a number of activities using computer based system we can

write it make calculations using an electronic spreadsheet and

incorporate graphics, create a data base of friends with their phone

numbers addresses and email its etc it is an arduous process to

perform these those activities using existing traditional methods.

2.1 DEFINATION OF COMPUTER

The term computer is obtained from the word computer. A

computer is an electronic devices which takes a data as (input)

produce the data as (output) at hight speed according to the

program instruction.

CLASSIFICATION OF COMPUTER

Computer can be classified based on the following parameters

Using physical size as a factors the following types of computer can

2.2 COMPONENT OF COMPUTER

The computer component can be classified in to two broad

categories

Hard ware component

Soft ware component

Hardware: refers to any physical component of computer for

example CPU, monitor, keyboards, hard disk, floppy disk, and

printer etc.

Software: refers to the programs which are required to operate the

computer or set of instruction which tell the computer what to do

ad how to do it

BENEFIT OF COMPUTER TO THE SOCIETY

Computer are great benefit to the society in many ways. Some of

these are

i. Education: computer are used in school in verious ways

such as teaching of computer in schools, school

administration computer assisted ;earning etc.

WHAT S NETWORKING

Networking basically working is the connection two or more part

of system in the view of scaring resources.

A network is establish when ever two or more computer of device

are capable of communicating among each other connection can

either be wired or wireless.

INTERNET

INTERNET means is the process to browse or searching

something from the one place to another. Internet it can help you

to get the knowledge. Internet can make a person to be a perfect.

SUMMARY CONCLUSION

SUMMARY
Much has been acquired during the short period of my siwes as a

Office Technology Student, my practical capability on handling

various form of test like bleeding of the has been boosted.

At the end of the siwes, I was able to know to carry out all of the

test and to detect some simple problem in the body system. Beside

that I can confidently hand on those test unsupervised.

My siwes programme has through more vividly the possible once by

which microbes enters human body and their harmful effect and

has also open my eyes know how I should guide myself against

them in a given environment.

CONCLUSION

My practical orientation ha greatly improved after the completion of

the siwes the challenge goes to the incoming once to put their best

and ensure that they see it as privilege to pass through this siwes.

They should not indulge by not partaking in this assets laid down

by the ITF (industrial training found).
