Writing: Compare traditional and online education

More and more students are transitioning from a traditional classroom to an online
learning, caused by the current global covid-19 epidemic. There are disadvantages
and benefits between these two forms of learning, the differences between compare
traditional and online education:

-Online education: Generally speaking it offers students flexible schedule, ensuring


effective working from home is a great opportunity for those who have time
commitments to work and family. Online learning students may be more
comfortable however, studying online requires more self-direction and discipline
to complete courses on time. Students must be able to arrange chores with
homework, even though students are allowed to interact directly with their friends
and faculty. Learners are supposed to be highly self-motivated because many
students may struggle to stay motivated when learning from the comfort of their
home.

-Traditional education: Traditional learning has less flexibility than online


education, such as students who want their free time to be able to spend with their
family but cannot return because they are very far away, or like friends who want
to meet each other do not easy at all. A better solution for those have a little more
freedom in their schedules. Especially, it’s hard if you’re planning on working
while in school. Learners can look for a job to pay tuition or a job to develop
themselves while traditional study. When it comes to discipline and self-
motivation, traditional study is considered the best option ever. Having a routine of
face to face interaction with lecturers can help students focus more on their studies.

+ Although there are both similarities and differences when it comes to traditional
and online learning it depends upon the student and how they prefer to learn. If the
student is aware of all the aspects that come with online learning and are willing to
put forth the effort to take online courses then it can be very beneficial. A student
that is familiar with or even more comfortable with different forms of technology
may prefer to be in an online learning. Most people who prefer to work alone or at
home will choose an online learning environment. And those who like to
communicate, like freedom or personal development, choose the traditional
learning environment. Today many people choose to work from home instead of
work, perhaps they find comfort at home but it is very dangerous.
