Defendant present, in custody.
The Defendant having been arraigned this date,
IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. Entering a not guilty plea on behalf of the Defendant and setting a Case Management Conference on
Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 8:30 AM This case is individually assigned to HON. CHRISTOPHER
BROWNING, DIVISION 27.
2. A Pretrial Conference is set on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 8:30 AM, with the HON.
CHRISTOPHER BROWNING, DIVISION 27.
3. The Defendant is advised that his/her failure to appear for trial could result in the trial proceeding in
his/her absence. The Defendant is also advised that if he/she is convicted at trial and the Court cannot
sentence him/her within 90 days of conviction because he/she failed to appear, he/she may lose his/her
right to a direct appeal.
4. Confirming the public defender as counsel for the defense.
5. Defendant shall provide current address and current telephone number to his/her defense attorney within
48 hours.
6. Defendant to meet with defense counsel within 25 days from arraignment.
7. Failure to contact and meet with defense counsel could result in Defendant's revocation of release.
8. Assessing attorney's fees of $400.00. Payment arrangements to be set by Trial Judge.
9. Assessing a $25.00 A.R.S. fee.
Notice to counsel:
Coverage counsel for the State and defense counsel shall be prepared to inform the Court if a plea
agreement has been tendered and inform the Court regarding the status of disclosure. Defense counsel shall
provide a specific description of outstanding disclosure if any.
Absent a compelling reason specifically articulated in a written motion, the Case Management
Conference will not be continued by written stipulation or oral motion.
