Read the following passage and answer the questions carefully.
The encapsulated fat mass in the hollow region under the cheekbone is known as Buccal Fat Pad.
They are located between the nostril and the corner of the mouth. Their main function is assisting
infants in nursing and providing a smooth gliding plane for the jaw muscles. All human beings
have buccal fat pads, but some have more prominent fat pads and cheeks, a noticeably "chubby"
or "chipmunk" appearance. Buccal fat removal has to be one of the most requested facial
cosmetic procedures to emerge over the past few years, especially in Dubai. This is probably
inspired in part by celebrities who are rumoured to have undergone surgery themselves and in part
because of the growing acceptability of cosmetic surgeries in Dubai.
The mechanics of the procedure is simple: pads of fat in the mid-cheek area, i.e., the buccal fat
pads, are removed in order to reveal a slimmer, chiselled and more contoured face. As with any
cosmetic surgery, buccal fat removal, too, comes with its own set of considerations, requirements,
rules, advantages, and disadvantages.
Factors like genes, habits, and environment determine the distribution of fats and muscles in your
body. While some people are happy and satisfied with their genetic distribution of fats, some are
