Visit the stupendous country of the 'La Squadra Azzurra'

On this occasion, I had the opportunity to travel to the courteous city of Rome, Italy.
It is common knowledge that Rome is the largest city in Italy, both geographically and in terms
of popularity, it is common that most people who want to travel to Italy, the first destination
that comes to mind is Rome, personally I think the reason for this is the very touristy and
characteristic places in this city, such as: Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Capitoline Museum and
others.
In Italy, there are several traditions that attract people from all over the world. There are many
celebrations in Italian culture based on sharing with family and friends. It is very important for
the inhabitants of this magnificent country to preserve these traditions. Most people make a
living from: Tourists and food, which is very important for any culture, fashion, art, etc.
A very famous celebration in Italy is the “Giubiana”, which in South American countries means
"old year"; a “Giubiana” is a witch in rags who is burned in the square.
This tradition takes place on the last Thursday of January, the first month of the New Year, and
its purpose or meaning is to face the New Year in a positive way, with new goals, objectives and
dreams.
A beautiful 'eternal city'
As soon as I landed at the airport in Italy, I knew it would be a beautiful and totally
unforgettable place, much more than the Rome I was going to, I knew it was a very visited place,
I knew there were a lot of people, but knowing this, I didn't have high expectations, on the
contrary, I went with low or normal expectations because I didn't want to be too excited and
disappointed by everything I had seen and heard about Italy.
I was very excited to try all the typical dishes of the place, because we all know that pizza, pasta
and lasagna are dishes known all over the world, but this is where they come from, so I went
straight to the restaurant to try these flavours. I was very satisfied with the food and the service,
I could feel in my mouth all the culture, traditions and flavours of this extraordinary place with
the "Ossobuco", a dish I will never forget.
If you don't try the traditional cuisine of the place you are visiting, you will fail as a traveller and
a foreigner.
If you don't, you'll miss out on delicious and unique flavours that can't be found anywhere else
in the world. Italian restaurants can be found in almost any country, but they will never be the
same because the vegetables and spices come from different suppliers and locations, so the
dishes may be very similar, but they will never be the same.
And don't forget to visit the Colosseum, Rome's most famous tourist attraction.
