POLYCAB Elastomeric Insulated Cable Confirming to BS EN 50525-2-21.

Polycab offers a comprehensive range of Rubber flexible cable conforming to BS EN 50525-2-21 for various
application.

The highly flexible and robust Polycab Rubber cable makes its use in portable electrical equipment and
devices. The mechanical force involved in moving apparatus requires cables to withstand high degree of
wear and tear, extreme weather condition, oil/grease prone area and high heat zone. These flexible
rubber cables are also suitable for wide range of application in lighting, appliances or equipment including
heavy industrial equipment requires flexible connection to power supply.

Conductor: High conductivity bunched tinned copper conductor produced in-house from state-of-the art
Machine.

Insulation: In-house developed cross linked elastomeric compound ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) or
Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA).

Sheath: In-house developed cross linked elastomeric sheathing polychloroprene (PCP) or


chlorosulphonated polyethylene (CSP) or ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) or thermoplastic polyurethane
(TMPU) compound.

The construction based on the application and requirement of the user against BS EN 50525-2-21

Application
POLYCAB H07RN8-F heavy-duty water-resistant cable insulated and sheathed with cross-linked elastomeric
compound. This cable fulfils the requirement as per EN 50525-2-21, for installation in dry, damp or wet
environments, in workshops with explosive atmospheres, it can be immersed in fresh water up to 10m depth
and it could be used as energy supply cable for submersed pumps. Not advisable for under waterpower
transmission or installation in a water way or where mechanical damage may occur a cause hazard
