undescribable Timon. Although he lost an arm in a train accident, he has been a well-known stand-up
comedian and a reputable actor for many years. Apart from being the voice of numerous Disney

defending Arab immigrants to France.

He founded SpaceX and Tesla, and recently purchased Twitter. Elon Musk is a creative, detertemined and
visionary person, who is also the wealthiest person in the world. This year, he created xAI, an artificial
intelligence company. He has invested a lot towards solar energy and also has given money for reseach on
the development of carbon capture.

Jason Statham was born on July 26th 1967 in England. He is a British actor and producer. He started his
career in 1998 and he played the leading role in the saga Transporter in 2002 and later in The Fast and
The Furious. He is a sports-oriented actor who plays tough and violent characters. Although he is one of
the most bankable actors for action films, he has never been awarded in his career, but has advocated for
giving awards to stunt performers.

Thomas Pesquet was born on February 27th 1978 in France. He is a famous French astronaut. He is
talented, courageous and devoted. He is an adventure activities enthusiast who joined the European Space
Agency in 2009, and went for his first mission in space in 2016. On April 12th 2021, he was nominated
Goodwill Ambassador the the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the person that I chose to be Person of the Year because he is the best football
player in the world. He was born on February 5th 1985. He is Portuguese. He has scored 860 goals, and
has won 5 ballon d’or awards. He has won 34 trophies in his career. He is also one of the most influential
sportsmen in the world, and one of the best paid. Ronaldo has also made contributions to various
charitable causes throughout his career, especially to children.

Novak Djocovic is the person that I chose because he is my favourite tennis player. He was born on May
22nd 1987 in Serbia. He won the 2023 US Open, and this was is 24th victory in the Grand Slam. He is
today the number 1 world tennis player and has ranked number 1 for 13 years. Djokovic is an active
philanthropist. He is the founder of the Novak Djokovic Foundation, which is committed to supporting
children from disadvantaged communities.

Antoine Dupont was born on November 15th 1996. He is French, and he is a popular, talented and
worthy rugby player. He started his career on October 26th 2014, when he wasn’t yet 18. He played for
the World Cup in 2023. He was injured on September 21st 2023 during the match against Namibi, and
was operated the next day. He returned to the field on November 7th 2023, and was elected the best
international French player of the year.
Matthew Perry was born on August 19th 1969 in Williamstown. He is an American and Canadian actor.
I chose him because he played in a series called Friends that I grew up with. He embodied Chandler Bing
in the series. I find him funny and talented in his role. Unfortunately, he died on October 28th 2023. He
had become an advocate for rehabilitation, because he had received an award from the White House for
opening a rehab center in his home in Malibu.

Prince Harry was born on September 15th 1984 in London, England. He is an English soldier, an officer
and lately an author. He grew up without his mother, Princess Diana, who died in an accident when he
was 13 years old. In 2020, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan announced that they were leaving the Royal
Family. Since then, he has written a book about his memoirs with the royal family. Like his mother, he
has taken part in numerous charities, because he is popular and charitable.

Charles de Gaulle was born on November 22nd 1880 in Lille, and he died on November 9th 1970 at
Colombey-les-deux- Eglises. He was a popular French politician who is mainly known for his role as
leader of the French resistance during World War II and for being a French President. He has written the
present French constitution. He has also written numerous memoirs, and has received a great number of
honours and awards, both from the French and other governments.

Napoleon Bonaparte was born on August 15th 1769. He was a French soldier, then a General in the
French Army, who became emperor of the French. He was small, smaller than his wife, but he was also
ambitious, and he became famous because he won the war at Austerlitz and on other battlefields. He has
helped write laws that are still used today, and has created numerous schools which still exist nowadays.
He has also helpted integrate the Jews into the nation.

17th district of Paris. He was born on November 27th 1997 in Paris. He started his career in 2014 and has
released many albums or singles since then. The latest was Trap$tar 3, which was released in 2023 and

FC Club. Since then, he has won eight Ballon d’Or awards, and has won 34 trophies, mainly with
Barcelona. He has scored more than 800 goals in his career. He is a quick and agile player, who has also
been involved in charitable efforts aimed at vulnerable children.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy was born on January 25th 1978 in Krivyi Rih in Ukraine. He is a former
comedian, actor, director and scriptwriter, and now a Ukrainian statesman. He has been the President of
Ukraine since May 20th 2019. He has shown to be a brave and loyal statesman, since he stayed in
Ukraine when it was invaded by Russia, and has stood up to the Russian armies since then, becoming thus
more and more popular in Ukraine and across the world.

Paul Couderc was born on September 4th 1996 at Auch in France. He is a twenty seven year old French
mountain biker. He has been passionate about mountain biking since he was 5. He is the best in France
and the fifth world mountain biker.

Andrew Russell Garfield was born on August 20th 1983 in Los Angeles. He is a British and American
actor. He was revealed in "Boy A" for which he won an award, but was revealed to the public when he
played in Spider Man Amazing 1 and 2. He is a talented and diverse actor who has played on the stage
as well as in films and series, both in Britain and America. He has won numerous awards and played in
the latest Spiderman in 2023.
Kylian Mbappé was born on December 20th 1998 in Paris. He is a French international football player. I
think he is one of the quickest and most efficient players in the world. He grew up near Paris and started
playing in 2015 and began playing for the French team in 2017, where he was the youngest player. He
was part of the team that won the World cup in 2018 and the League of Nations in 2021.

AmineMa Tue was born on July 21st 1994. He grew up in Normandy. He has been a streamer on Twitch
since 2020, with a humorous content. He has 2.3 million followers on Twitch and is one of the most
popular French streamers. He has organised a few sports events. On September 20th 2023, he created an
auction whereby he collected 100,000 € for the victims of the earthquake in Morocco. I think he deserves
to be the Person of the Year.

Pierre Gasly was born on February 7th 1996 in Rouen. He is a French Formula 1 driver in the Alpine
Team. At the age of 24, he was the youngest French pilot to win a Formula 1 prize. He is a perfectionist
and a very handsome guy. I think he deserves to be Person of the Year becasue he has been on 5 podiums
and has done a very good 2023 season.

For my Person of the Year, I have chosen Miley Cyrus. She was born on November 23rd 1992. She is an
American singer, songwriter and actress. She is very talented and popular. She played Miley Stewart in
Hannah Montana, a Disney series, from 2006 to 2011. She deserves to be Person of the Year because she
has helped many causes, such as homeless children, HIV research, and has also advocated for the cause of
the LGBTQ+ community.

Zoe Saldana was born on June 19th 1978. She is 45 years old. She is an American actress, producer and
director who grew up in Queens in New-York. From 1987 to 1995, she lived in the Dominican Republic.
She is a talented and courageous actress who has played in numerous high-grossing films such as
Avengers or Avatar, and has won numerous awards. Time magazine named her one of the most
influential people in the world in 2023.

Emma Watson was born on April 15th 1990 in Paris. She is an English Actress who became famous
with the role of Hermione Granger in Harry Potter from 2011 to 2011. She won many awards for this
role. After that, she has played in a lot of different, more mature, movies. She was noticed for a feminist
speech at the United Nations, and was named Goodwill Ambassador by the UN in July 2014. She has also
acted for fair-trade and sustainable development.

Lucas Hauchard is a French youtuber and also a streamer on Twitch. He was born on January the 27th
1996. He was just a little boy when he started on Youtube in 2008. At 17, he became the youngest French
Youtuber to gain 1 million subscribers. He is a really nice guy who gives gifts to his followers and he is
open-minded about many topics. In 2022, he created a karting race, called JP Explorer, which was the
biggest project in his life, and which he renewed in 2023. He has also given 42,800€ to the CKDB
organisation for children.
