on online learning, educational apps, and interactive tools. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated
the adoption of digital platforms for remote and blended learning, emphasizing the importance of
technology in education.

support students‟ well-being. SEL programs focus on developing skills such as self-awareness,
empathy, and resilience, recognizing the importance of emotional intelligence in academic
success.

development to enhance instructional strategies, technology integration, and adaptability to
changing educational landscapes.

6.Flexible Learning Environments: Adoption of flexible learning environments that

accommodate different learning styles. Schools are creating versatile spaces, incorporating
movable furniture, and utilizing outdoor classrooms to support diverse teaching methods.

ADVANTAGES OF EDUCATION INDUSTRY

1. Creating More Employment Opportunities

“Finding a job” is probably one of the most common reasons people choose to pursue a college
degree, as we are all well aware of the difficulties of landing a good job. In most cases, tens of
candidates are applying for the same position, and a college degree can help set you apart from
others. In addition, a college education will create more employment opportunities as you will be
qualified for more than low-paying and entry-level jobs.

2. Leading to Career Advancement

If you have already joined the workforce and love your job, you might think you don‟t need to
pursue a college or university education. We are here to tell you that a college degree can have
other benefits than just landing you a job. By receiving higher education, you gain the
knowledge and skills that will give you a competitive edge and allow you to advance your career
in a chosen field.

3. Developing Cognitive And Communication Skills

Learning how to communicate with others is a highly valuable skill in the job market and one
that will significantly contribute to your career success. Pursuing a university or college degree is
a great way to further develop your cognitive and communication skills. During your studies,
you will constantly be in contact and collaborate with colleagues and professors, giving you
insight into a typical work environment.
4. Promoting Equality And Empowerment

One of the most important benefits of education is probably the promotion of equality and
empowerment within society. Higher education can make people more open-minded in accepting
others‟ ideas and opinions regardless of race, gender, age, etc.

5.Instilling a Sense of Accomplishment

There are still advantages to a college or university degree, even if we were to take out the
“landing a job” benefit. Another great benefit of pursuing a degree is the sense of
accomplishment you gain when you obtain your degree. Feeling like you accomplished
something important will, in turn, make you more confident in pursuing other things you want in
life and getting them.
6.Spreading Awareness

Nowadays, technological advancement has made it possible for people to easily connect and
communicate with virtually anyone anywhere in the world. This, of course, includes students in
colleges and universities. Getting a college education will, directly and indirectly, expose
students to different cultures around the world, thus increasing cultural awareness

7. Enhancing Productivity

Getting a college degree is a lot of hard work, requiring self-discipline and good time-
management skills Pursuing and obtaining a college degree will improve these skills and
qualities in a person. Such essential attributes and skills will make you a valuable employee and
asset for the companies you work for as they help enhance your overall productivity.
DRAWBACKS

1. Lack of a budget

Early schooling required students to physically travel to and attend classes. This entails incurring
costs for the facilities and infrastructure that the school would have to offer to its students. Even
the students would have to spend money, time, and effort on the daily drive to school. Many
students are not been able to get the proper education, due to the lack of budget . The
government has launched many schemes to ensure that every child has the right to education.
Hope we will overcome this problem soon.

2. Too much Pressure on Grades

In the education system in India, a student‟s intelligence and performance are thought to be
mostly determined by their grades. Additionally, extracurricular activities are viewed as a detour
from academics. This thought stems from the idea that only professionals like doctors, lawyers,
engineers, and chartered accountants are good and everybody wishes their child to become one
of these. To achieve that, one has to get 99.9% in India. this shouldn‟t be the case, students
should be encouraged to follow their hobbies and make a career in the same. Music, art and to
be named a few.

3. Too much competition

In a perfect world, a student with a score of at least 90% would be regarded as intelligent. This
viewpoint needs to alter, though. A student who had a lower score might nevertheless be
intelligent and competent. A student‟s IQ cannot be determined by their grades. By altering the
way exams are administered, technology could be able to address this problem. Tech solutions
are now assisting in improving communication skills, and teaching and testing practical
knowledge. They are also engaging students in extracurricular activities in place of hour-long
exams that are once again focused on theoretical aspects. In

4. Not Focusing on Overall Growth

One of the biggest challenges of the Indian education system is that it is built to impart
knowledge, theoretical mostly. Remember algebra? We all knew we would never use it in life,
yet we had to study it because the system thinks it is important.

However, by emphasizing the students‟ overall growth, ed-tech platforms are assisting in
resolving this problem. Today‟s educational methods, made possible by technology , emphasize
hands-on learning, practical experience, and the development of soft skills in addition to topic
knowledge. Educational experiences can now be tailored and individualized to meet the needs of
a specific child. In the conventional school system, this was not possible.
5. Lack of Training

In the Indian education system, rote memorization typically dominates the curriculum. It is
heavily theoretical. It is so prevalent that even to get admission to a school a child should know
the alphabet, numbers, and whatnot. Once children get in, they are only appreciated for reciting
answers word for word.

EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

During my degree I chose two elective subjects, one of which was International
Workplace Practice. This subject one of manyWork IntegratedLearning subjects
available to all UOW students aims to develop job searching skills, career goals,
interview skills, professional skills and much more. On top of all these benefits,
this subject also offers a post-session internship, where students can apply all the
knowledge and skills they have gained at uni in to the practical world of work.

I applied for a marketing internship at akash group of institution, which offers co-
working spaces for young entrepreneurs in the Wollongong CBD. I knew this
would be an excellent opportunity for me to meet different entrepreneurs in the co-
working hub, learn about their businesses, observe how different businesses
operate and expand my knowledge and network.

So, here's a list of the top seven things I learned from doing an internship.

I applied all theoretical knowledge in a practical manner

I have get an idea of workers time follow up and the way they use to learn new
things among their co workers

An internship is an opportunity to test drive a career without making any serious

commitments. It provides you with experiences, lessons, and the tools you‟ll need
to get a full-time gig in the future.

It is often a great choice because it gives you a feel for work without being thrown
into the deep end straight away. This provides you with the opportunity to grow
and learn before fully entering the working world.
Here are all the things you can gain from an internship

 How to put my knowledge and skills into practice.

 The benefits of networking.
 Understand workplace culture.
 Enthusiasm is invaluable(Extremely useful) .
 Keeping a journal is great for personal growth.
 How important good communication is.
 The benefits of taking on feedback.
 How the technical field people work on inventing new things
