1. The teacher asks the students if they remember the short story "Fair’s Fair" that they read before.
ACTIVIT

Pre-Lesson 2. The teacher gives the students some hints about the short story to help them recall what the story is
about.

1. The teacher gives a brief introduction to the rules of the simple future tense.
2. The teacher divides the students into three groups, each group reading a different chapter and finding
sentences that use the simple future tense in the short story.
3. The students share the sentences they found and check each other’s answers.
4. The teacher gives the students a word list and asks them to choose the appropriate words to match the

Development 5. Based on their answers, the students create sentences using the future tense.
6. The students imagine what the characters in the short story would do at the fair (ghost train, big wheel) and
write it down in their exercise books.
7. The teacher provides an example sentence and asks the students to create sentences based on what they
wrote (e.g., "Raj likes exciting things, he will try the ghost train").
8. The students share their writing.

Post-Lesson 1. The teacher asks the students to think about the benefits of returning lost items.
