Dakarai was born in South Africa, mostly to a small family. His "father" was a man who only showed his face at night. He
was mostly an observer in his village. He spent many a day and night watching all the other members. Watching who
came through. He worked as a bartender which gave him many many oppurtonities to observe the people that came
through. There were a lot of men that came and drank, talked about crazy things in slips. An Inquisition. One that was
fighting for his people. He didn't understand though he had befriended a man named Samuel Drakos. Once he had
turned 30 he had started to learn that his father wasn't his father, but rather some form of kindred. The hats he always
wore covered a third eye. That night he was embraced. He was told his long time watching people had caught his
attention. So now he was a creature of the night. He learned to keep his eye hidden wearing beanies, head scarves, or
whatever was the most culturally appropriate in an area.
He spent the next 100 years gathering information. Anytime the Drakos family had another child that took up the
mantle he would befriend. He managed to keep out of their radar by waiting one generation. When a child was born he

anyway. Eventually he left South Africa to join the mass droves of kindred in larger cities. He went to Venice and He
learned then about the amount of time and precedent of peoples fear of the soul thieves. He waited, listened. Got the
information he needed to know. He left, the city was teeming with Tremere that had wanted to eat him if they ever
found out what he was. He went to New York to hide. And that was everything. His entire job and he was ok with that. In
recent nights he has made a trip to Prague. To settle down and watch.
