1. SPORTS GAMES CONCEPT
Games are activities whose purpose is the recreation of the participants
(called players). Its practice implies respect for a series of rules that govern the
dynamics of the game. There are games where a single player participates and
other multiple ones, where teams participate.

Games promote the development of practical and psychological skills, while

contributing to mental and physical stimulation. Therefore, in addition to providing
entertainment and fun to participants, they can fulfill an educational role.

Sport, on the other hand, consists of carrying out a physical activity, where a
set of rules is also respected. The difference with games is that, in the sports field,
there is always the competitive desire. Therefore, sports are a competition that
always produces a result.

Although physical capacity is very important to obtain a good final result,

there are other factors that affect the development of the sport, such as the
athlete's equipment (clothes, instruments, etc.) and mental strength.

In sport, competition is combined with entertainment for both those who

practice it and those who watch it. For this reason, sports are professional
disciplines, where athletes receive money for their activities and spectators pay to
attend stadiums and gyms. Football and baseball, depending on the country, are
examples of sports that generate millions of dollars.

Sports games, in conclusion, are activities that combine, to a greater or

lesser extent, different facets of games and sports, such as entertainment, physical
development, mental stimulation and competition.

2.EXAMPLES OF SPORTS GAMES:

1. Hot ball or burnt ball . It is a game in which teams are formed and
balls are thrown to “burn” the opponent when they are touched by
the ball, automatically being out of play.
2. Cachiball. This game is a derivation of volleyball, it consists of two
teams of six mixed members (boys and girls), where the aim is to
send the ball over the net to the floor of the opposing field. It is
usually used in primary school as a sports game.

3. Burned . This is a game where children “touch” a partner and the

partner has to run and touch (burn) a partner, who from that
moment on is in charge of running and “burning” the others by
touching them. With this game you practice movements such as
running, jumping and hiding.
4. Pass 10. It is a variation within basketball in which the players of
each team have to pass the ball 10 times without it being
intercepted.
5. Roll the ball . This game is usually used essentially in preschool, it
involves rolling a ball between the infants, with the children taking
turns to do so.
6. Relay race . These types of races are usually held over short
distances, to introduce children to the practice of sport, as well as to
instill team spirit in children.
7. Stop. In this game, a circle is drawn on the ground using chalk,
writing the word “stop” in the central part of the circle. The circle is
divided according to the number of children playing, where each
child writes the name of a fruit, vegetable, country or something
else that they like without it being repeated. It basically consists of
the children standing in their corresponding part and one of them
mentioning that "he declares war on his worst enemy, which is" and
says the word of a classmate, with the rest having to run from their
"boxes" until the The child of the aforementioned word steps in the
center and says “stop”, leaving the rest of the children motionless
when mentioning “stop”.
8. Against everyone . It is a variation of volleyball in which two
crossed nets are placed and four teams are formed that have to
play all against each other with the ball, protecting their
corresponding part of the field.
9. Shot put (With balls). It is a practice that simulates shot put, but
where balls are used by children.
10. Chase balls. This game consists of teams of children forming
teams that throw balls to their classmates in front of them so that
they can catch them, while another team of children plays trying to
catch the balls by intercepting them before they reach the receiving
teammate, touching them with any part of the body to count.
11. Blind network. It is another variant of volleyball, where the
net is placed a little higher, as well as a cloth that prevents the
vision of the rival area, it is played, basically, like volleyball, but
blind.
12. Crazy passes. It is a game in which balls are passed with a
number of balls equal to the number of players, and where the
passes have to be made faster and faster. This can be started
statically and then performed while in motion. It is a game that
improves children's motor coordination.
13. - The lifeguard : One or two pay it and have to catch the others.
There is a ball, and whoever is in possession of it is immune from being
caught. You can keep it or pass it on to a colleague who is going to be
caught.

14. - The 4 corners: Each player has a ball at their feet. There are as
many hoops as there are players minus 1 or 2. At the signal they have to
change hoops. The one who is left without a ring occupies the center. The
one who, using only his feet, leaves the ball planted inside the hoop wins
the hoop.

15. - The handkerchief: Similar to the game we know but with the sitick
and the steering wheel. Run after it, make a circuit and leave it in the hoop
again. This game has the possibility of variants, depending on what you
want to achieve, for example shooting at goal.
