SCREW MOULDING MACHINE

UNIT TON 80
❖ Micro processor
❖ Linear scale
❖ Proportion valve
❖ Auto lubrication
❖ Core pulley
❖ Air ejection
❖ Hydraulic multi stroke ejection
❖ Servo motor (optional)

In a reciprocating screw injection moulding machine, material flows under gravity from the
hopper onto a turning screw. The mechanical energy supplied by the screw, together with
auxiliary heaters, converts the resin into a molten state. At the same time the screw retracts
toward the hopper end. The screw rotation speed in plastic injection moulding is the speed of
rotation of the screw for mixing the pellets. Its unit is revolutions per minute (RPM). If the
screw rotation speed is too high, air gets mixed inside the molten plastic which can make gas
generation to accrue easily. When a sufficient amount of resin is melted, the screw moves
forward, acting as a raw and forcing the polymer melt through a gate into the cooled mold.
Once the plastic has solidified in the mold, the mold is unclamped and opened, and the part is
pushed from the mold by automatic ejector pins. The mold is then closed and clamped, and the
screw turns and retracts again to repeat the cycle of liquefying a new increment of resin. For
small parts, cycles can be as rapid as several injections per minute. The basic function of either
an injection moulding or extrusion screw is to simply convey the material to the mold or die in
an even mixture of resin and pressure to properly fill the mold cavities in order to generate a
proper plastic part. They are the key factors affecting the quality of plasticization. Screws helps
to hold things together such as pieces of wood or metal. Compared to ordinary nails, screws
provide more strength and holding power. Screw design L/D (length to diameter) ratio between
18:1 and 24:1 and a screw compression ratio between 2:1 and 3:1 is recommended. This is
called shearing. The metering zone then conveys the melt to the front of the screw ready for
injection into the mould cavity. In the transition zone the material is compressed by the change
in the depth of the screw channels from the feed zone to the metering zone. The ratio of the
change in depth is called the compression ratio and is usually between 2and3 for plastics such
as PP AND PE. There are general purpose and dedicated screw designs. The type of screw used
is dependent on the plastic material to be processed. The screw is usually simple appearing
device, but it accomplishes may different operations at the same time. These include

ORGANIZATIONAL DESING

Organization design is a framework architecture for an organization according to which an

organization runs its business. It structures the workforce and the management in the most
efficient working method through which they can realize their company mission statement. A
successful and comprehensive design process is defined by the holistic approach it envisions
for the organization improvement. To design such a framework that addresses all the vital
areas of company the management. I rarely come across leaders who advocate wholesale
organisational redesign or use it as a way to support their people and business. When
organizational strategy changes, structure, roles, and functions should be realigned with the
new objectives. This doesn’t always happen, with the result the responsibilities can be
overlooked, staffing can be inappropriate, and people and even functions can work against
each other. Poor organizational design and structure results in a bewildering morass of
contradictions. Confusion among functions, failure to share ideas, and slow decision-making
bring managers unnecessary complexity, stress, and conflict. Often those at the top of an
organization are oblivious to these problems or worse pass them off as or challenges to
overcome or opportunities to develop. The company strategy specifies the goals, products,
and market to be served as well as the way of creating and delivering this value, not only to
the customer, but also to shareholders. People focuses on the human resources policies and
responsible for the level and quality of human capital available at the firm. A review of a
company organizational design can yield significant benefits. Organizational design is a
comprehensive process required for a compelling business organization. This process is
essential in creation a comfortable environment necessary for achieving common goals and
perspectives. As these factors influence organizational design, it is critical to combine and
integrate the compulsory element for these settings. Corporate design covers the
administration and regulation of strategic planning required in business processes.

❖ Increase in workplace morale and customer service

❖ Higher production levels and lower costs
❖ Production workers and support staff.
ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE

Organization structure in the manufacturing sector is typically defined along different

production lines. Functional specialisation real-time communication response generation
through standard operating procedures. Organization structure is the framework of the
relations on jobs, system, operating process, people and group making efforts to achieve the
goals. Organizational structure is a set of method dividing the task to determined Duties and
coordinates them. Organizational structure refers to the models of internal relations of
organization, power and relations and reporting, formal communication channels,
responsibility and decision-making delegation is clarified. Proper reaction to environment and
conflict resolution between the units. With a flat organization structure, a person may report
to more than one person and there may be cross- department responsibilities and decision-
making authority. The relationship between main principles of organization between is
activities and internal organizational relations in terms of reporting and getting report are
duties of organization structure. Allows for economies of scale in depth skill development or
specialisation. Works best with stable markets, narrow product line, and well-understood
customer requirements. This in turn requires that the structure, people and performance be
aligned with each other. A strong leadership team, who effectively communicates the vision,
strategy, structure role and responsibilities and performance long with robust hiring and
development mechanisms will clear much of the barriers to strategy implementation.
Reorganising an organization structure in order to exploit the advantages of geography and
establishing an organization-level strategy has a key role in aiding the achievement of
organizational objectives. There was scope for improvement with decision right within the
organizational structure. A functional manufacturing organizational structure is that it can help
to promote efficiency by allowing employees to specialize in their area of expertise.
Additionally, this can help to reduce costs by eliminating the need for duplicate resource in
different department. These managers make sure everything in their area runs smoothly and
efficiently.

Elements of organizational structure

❖ Types of organizational structures include functional, divisional, flat Archy and

matric structure.
❖ As discussed below, functional, product -based, market -based and geographical
organizational structures.
❖ Provides accountability
❖ Clarifies expectations
❖ Document criteria for promotion
❖ Scope of control
❖ Department or teams within the organization

VETICAL INJECTION MOULDING MACHINE

UNIT TON 35
The vertical injection moulding machine v-duo is the right machine for pressing, forming
and over moulding in one operation. Its precise clamping side with high platen parallelism
ensures an exact result. With the injection unit, you functionalise the components after
moulding in the same operation. In vertical injection moulding, the two halves of the mold
move vertically, up and down, to open and close. The injection mechanism is typically located
at the top of the mold. Gravity plays a large role in filling the mold cavities, along with the
injection pressure. This can help with filling time and consistency. Vertical vs horizontal
injection moulding operates according to the same general principle of injection moulding
(injecting of the mold cavity as the material hardens), each one offer unique benefits and
application suitability. The primary difference in vertical vs horizontal injection moulding is
the configuration and movement of the mold. In the vertical injection moulding process, the
mold clamping action occurs vertically, in an up and down motion. The clamping mechanism
and injection mechanism are located along the same vertical plane. Vertical injection
moulding equipment is designed with open clamps and rotary tables. This allows for work
with multiple molds and simultaneous operations- pre- moulding, injection moulding and
post- moulding. As a result, there is a less of and for manual operation and intervention, as
well as higher efficiency, increased productivity and reduced costs. In vertical molds, pieces
must be extracted by hand or robotic arm. The design of vertical molds and their use of rotary
tables means two bottom halves and one top half can be used in tandem so that pre and post
moulding operations can be occurring while parts are being filled. This is especially useful in
operations such as insert moulding or over moulding, where inserts or substrates must be
loaded prior to resin injection.
❖ More consistent material flow and temperature distribution.
❖ Manual part removal can be time consuming.

These strategic moves position texstar for sustainable growth and increased competitiveness
in the evolving manufacturing landscape. Manufacturing’s role is changing. The way it
contributes to the economy shifts as nations nature in advanced economies, manufacturing
promotes innovation, productivity, and trade more than growth and employment. In these
countries, manufacturing also has begun to consume more services and to more heavily on
them to operate. Manufacturing is entering a dynamic new phase. As a new global consuming
class emerges in developing nations, and innovations spark additional demand. develop a
long-term plan considering all alternatives available. Study them and evaluate the economic
benefit that each one can produce. There should be a process for implementing these initiatives
and positioning the business for success. The future of manufacturing in India is promising,
but it also present significant challenges.
KEY RESULTS OF STUDY

The manufacturing sector is characterized by constant innovation, evolving technologies, and

stringent industry standard. an effective tool for establishing strategic goals, promoting
growth, and maintaining a competitive edge. Here, we provide ten transformative the
manufacturing sector, providing key insights for companies seeking to elevate their
performance and outpace their competition. A good structure comprises a clear, aspirational
objective that sets the high-level direction of the goal. This is supported. That are specific,
time-bound, and quantifiable. Using this structure, you create a sense of purpose while
ensuring your teams efforts are focused and aligned with achieving the objective Matters.
Objectives are high-level, qualitative statements that outline the strategic goals an
organization wants to achieve within a specific time frame, usually a quarter or a year. They
should be clear, inspirational, and aligned with the company vision and mission. Objectives
provide direction and help set priorities for teams and individuals within the organization.
Manufacturing companies would have key milestones to each process. Those metrices to
known where you are travelling currently and with that visibility, you can create quarterly
deliverables as objectives. The collectively indicate your priorities for the manufacturing
industry starts with an organizational goal, that gives way for measuring further departmental
objective. If the profitability of a plant has to increase, the goal has to be set considering raw
materials, operational and infrastructure costs. Forward- looking manufactures are investing
in smart factory initiatives, incorporating advanced data analysis capabilities to fine-tune
planning, speed up design cycles, and gain better visibility into supply chain and
manufacturing processes.
CONCLUSION

Manufacturing is the processing of the raw materials into the finished goods and services and
is the major and important sector of the economy as it promotes economic growth and
development. Services that are either embodied or embedded in manufacturing
competitiveness and account for much of the value added in a products supply chain this
increased sericitization raised the feasibility bar by placing a premium on increasing the
productivity of services to manufacturing. The growth of the services sector within and
beyond this broader manufacturing process will present opportunities to benefit from further
productivity growth and job creation, but most service sectors that exhibit these productivity-
enhancing characteristics will less likely initiate large-scale employment creation for unskilled
labour. The decline of manufacturing was a wild card factor that spelled growing social
disappointment and corresponding social disruption. Texstar manufacturing company has
demonstrated remarkable its growth through its commitment to quality, innovation, and
customer satisfaction. By continually investing in advanced manufacturing technologies and
