This paper was written with the aim of fulfilling the assignment and increasing the reader's
insight into the rapid development of Apple Inc. in the realm of world technology.

Apple Inc. is a multinational technology company that was founded in 1976. This company,
which is famous for its innovative products such as the iPhone, iPad and Macbook, has been a
pioneer in developing various electronic devices and changing people's habits in using
technology.

In this paper, we will discuss a brief history of Apple Inc., vision and mission, organizational
structure, financial reports for the past two years regarding assets and liabilities, superior
products and services provided, as well as its contribution to technological development.

 Brief History Of The Company

Quoted from the official website Unnes.ac.id, Apple Inc. was founded on April 1, 1976
and changed to Apple Computer. Inc. on January 3, 1977, However, on January 9, 2007, the
word "Computer" was removed to reflect Apple's focus on electronics after the launch of the
iPhone.
Apple was founded by 3 young people, namely Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald
Wayne. Steve Wozniak is an electronic hacker. In 1975, he worked at Hewlett-Packard (HP)
and helped his friend Steve Jobs design Video Games for Atari. Ronald Wayne is barely
mentioned in Apple's history. Perhaps this is because Wayne left Apple 12 days after the
company was founded. Ronald Wayne was an Apple co-worker at Atari and held 10 percent
of Apple shares.
Initially, Apple made computers for sale, but due to limited funds, the Apple I they
produced was not yet perfect. Finally, after getting its first customers, Apple developed a
computer with the name Apple II. In the 1980s, Apple began to sell a lot and generated a lot of
funds for the Apple company.
However, entering the decade of 1980, the level faced quite fierce competition in the
computer business because there was a large company that challenged them, namely IBM. IBM
managed to become a fairly strong challenger to Apple because they were able to gain a large
market share with their computer products.
After fierce competition and the emergence of several large companies producing
computer products, Apple was also hit by leadership problems within the company. Even Steve
Jobs as the founder of Apple decided to leave Apple and found a new company.
But in the end Steve Jobs returned to Apple and came up with the idea to develop the
iMac. Where the iMac succeeded in saving Apple from destruction while giving it time to tidy
up its existing operating system.
After that, Apple continued to carry out various innovations and create new products that
dominated the smartphone market and accessories such as AirPods, MacBooks, iPads and so
on. So that was the history and profile of the Apple company which created the iPhone and
other electronic goods.

Apple's mission statement is “to provide customers with the best user experience through
innovative hardware, software and services.” Apple's vision statement is “to make the best
products in the world and leave the world better than we found it.”
Apple is a technology company that has exemplified innovation, elegance, and design
since its founding in 1976. Its mission and vision statements have defined its strategy for
success in the global marketplace, while motivating employees to support and contribute to
the business' competitive advantage. .
Apple's business strategies, intensive growth strategies and business statements are used
by the company to face competition from competitors such as Samsung, Google, IBM, Dell,
Lenovo and PayPal. Over the years, these statements were constantly adapted to whatever
changes occurred in the organization under the leadership of Steve Jobs and Tim Cook. Their
messages now embrace the diversity in strategic approaches that are critical to success across

semiconductors.
The company faces stiff competition, therefore its mission statement should reflect the

fourth quarter of its 2022 fiscal year ending September 24, 2022. The company posted record
September quarter revenue of $90.1 billion, up 8 percent year over year, and quarterly earnings
per share diluted $1.29, up 4 percent year over year. Annual revenue was $394.3 billion, up 8
percent year over year, and annual earnings per diluted share were $6.11, up 9 percent year
over year.

Here are some of my personal opinions about Apple Inc.:

1. I admire the innovation and design of Apple products.

2. I feel that the prices of Apple products are too expensive.
3. I don't like Apple's closed business practices and don't want to open up its platform to other
parties.
4. I hope Apple can pay more attention to environmental sustainability in its production.
