difficult. in the morning i was late for work. in the afternoon, i
took a difficult test. by the time i got home, i was very tired.
i'm happy that most days are easier.
i forgot to set my alarm clock, and so it didn't ring at 6:30.
as a result, i woke up late. when i woke up, it was 7:30. i got out
of bed, dressed quickly, and ran to catch my train. i didn't have a
second for breakfast. when i looked down at my feet while i was
standing on the train, i saw that i was wearing one black shoe and
one brown shoe. that's how my day began.
i arrived at my office forty-five minutes late. when i opened
the door, my boss was standing there. he stopped me at the door and
told me that there was no room for lazy employees. he is american
and is obsessed with punctuality. finally, he listened to me, and i
explained what had happened. he told me that was no excuse, and
that i had better be there on time tomorrow. i felt furious.
the rest of my day was just as bad. when i arrived at school, i

studied for my calculus test with a classmate. i was lost. i
didn't understand anything. i went to the classroom and took the
test. it was very difficult and i don't think i passed it. i felt
awful. i went home and fell asleep watching T.V. my sister woke me
up, and i told her about my terrible day. she invited me out for
dinner. when we got home i went to my room and collapsed on my bed.
what a terrible day!
