The line graph compares the amount of carbon dioxide emitted ssions by each
person in four different nations over a period of 40 years, starting from 1967.
Overall, carbon dioxide emissions in the United Kingdom were highest, while the
amount of carbon dioxide emissions released in Portugal was lowest during the
period shown.
In the year 1967, about 11 metric tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions were
released by one person in the UK and this figure was highest. The period from
1967 to 1977 saw an leveling off in emissions in this nation which then declined
gradually to about 9 metric tons significant rise in the amount of CO2 emissions
and CO2 gases reached a peak of around 11 tonnes in 1977. Meanwhile In the
same time, there was a dramatic gradual climb in this gases in Porntugal from …
in 1967 to … in 2007.
The amount of CO2 emitted by gases each person in the UK and in Sweden rose
considerably from nearly 9 metric tons to a peak of over 10 metric tons in the first
decade before plummeting to about 5 metric tons in 2007 declined, especially in
Sweden, this figure hit a low of about 5 tonnes and was the same as that of
Portugal. In Italy and Portugal, however, there waswere a steady growth in the
amount of CO2 emissions from 1997 to 1997 and remained stable for the rest of
the period.
