Dear Sir,
Your quotation for above said work is hereby accepted as per the particulars and rates
mentioned in the table hereunder. M/s Surat Singh Negi will be referred as Contractor and Vishnu
Prakash R Punglia Limited will be referred as Company in this document hereafter. The work is to be
carried out as per good engineering practice, provisions of relevant IS codes, specifications given in the
Tender document and requirement of the department and following terms and conditions.

4 Providing and fixing Barricading at site of work for restricting the 20000 mtr 24 4,80,000
general public using 40 mm dia M.S. pipe ("B" class) as vertical post
with average spacing of 1.80 meter between two vertical posts, having
height at least 1.5 m above road/ ground level and at least 30-45 cm
below road/ ground level by making suitable size hole in road/ ground,
providing and fixing two rows of 40 mm dia M.S. pipe ("B" class) as
horizontal members with nuts & bolts. Both vertical and horizontal
members shall be painted in red and white colour strips as per
approved pattern as when it becomes shabby but at least after every
alternate shifting at new location. After shifting/ removal of barricading
holes shall be filled up properly and site is to be cleared in all respect.
(Note: measurement is to be done in linear basis).
5 Providing and erecting 2.00 metre high temporary barricading at site; 100 mtr 708 70,800
each panel of size 2.50mx2.00m made of 40x40x6 mm angle iron or
50x50x3 mm hollow MS tube posts/horizontal members/ bracings
covered with 1.63mm thick MS sheet. The sheet shall be fixed with
30x5mm MS flat by suitable welding/riveting. The panels shall be made
so that gap of 50cm above the ground is available making overall height
as 2.5m. MS channel ISLC 75 @ 5.70 kg/m, 50cm long shall be
provided at the bottom having oval shaped holes of size 50x25mm at
both ends with 50 cm long MS angle 40x40x6 mm bracing. Suitable
arrangement shall be made to fix the barricading to avoid from
overturning by providing 250 mm long expansion fasteners at both
ends. The work shall be executed as per drawing/direction of
Employer's Representative which includes writing and painting,
arrangement for traffic diversion such as traffic signals during
construction at site for day and night, glow lamps, reflective signs,
marking, flags, caution tape as directed by the Employer's
Representative. The barricading provided shall be retained in position at
site continuously i/c shifting of barricading from one location to another
location as many times as required during the execution of the entire
work till its completion. Rate include its maintenance for damages,
painting, all incidentals, labour materials, equipments and works
required to execute the job. The barricading shall not be removed
without prior approval of Employer's Representative.(Note : One time
payment shall be made for providing barricading from start of work till
completion of work i/c shifting. The barricading provided shall remain to
be the property of the contractor on completion of the work).

cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) for fire hydrants and
RCC top slab 1:2:4 mix (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone
aggregate 20 mm nominal size) , i/c necessary excavation, foundation
concrete 1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 fine sand:10 graded stone aggregate 40
mm nominal size) and inside plastering with cement mortar 1:3 (1
cement : 3 coarse sand) 12 mm thick, finished with a floating coat of

17 Providing House Service Connection(Single Service connection) from
Ductile Iron distribution main to property limit, including supply & fixing
of brass ferrule confirming to IS: 2692, clamp saddle of non
corrosive Engineering Plastic(Polyethylene) body moulded with
Stainless Steel threaded metal insert for tapping outlet. The stirrup
metal plate shall be duly embedded in the plastic body, except at
the place of nut-bolt lugs. Threading size & dimensions shall confirm to
IS :554. The design of the saddle body should be such that, the service
connection outlet metal insert shall project out towards pipe side & align
with hole drilled on the pipe to ensure positive locking against rocking
or creeping on the pipe, as might be caused by vibration, pressure
or excessive external loading. Saddle seal shall be of virgin rubber SBR
Grade 30 / NBR (NSF 61 approved). It shall be of type pressure activated
hydro- mechanical design. It shall be contoured gasket to provide a
positive initial seal, which increases with increase in the line
pressure. Gasket shall be gridded mat, with tapered ends, with the
outlet section having ring contacting the saddle body multiple rings
contacting the pipe, preferably with a stainless steel reinforcing ring
insert moulded to prevent expansion under pressure. Stainless
Steel Type 304, NC rolled threaded, Tightening torque
for1/2"(M12) nut bolt: 14g.m and for 5/8"(M16) nut bolt:21-23kg.m.
Drilling the DI pipeline shall be through the chain and rachet
mechanism and the drill hole shall be perpendicular to the axis of the DI
pipeline, including supplying & laying MDPE PE 80 PN16 blue pipe as
per ISO 4427 upto the property limit of both sides of road including
supplying & fixing PP compression fittings such as Metal Insert
Female Thread Adaptor with SS304 material (2Nos), Double

20 Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, 1100 Cum 1180 12,98,000
spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface,
mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting
with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as
per Technical Specification Clause 401.For Grading I Material as per
drawing and as per direction of Employer's Representative.
21 Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of
specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including
spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel
roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and
brooming, stone screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of
coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density
Grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clause 405. as per drawing
and as per direction of Employer's Representative.

23 Construction of Un-reinforced, Cement concrete pavement, thickness as 850 cum 5664 48,14,400
per design, over a prepared sub base with 43 grade cement or any other
type PCC Grade M- 30, coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS: 383,
maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, mixed in a
concrete mixer of not less then 0.2 cum capacity and appropriate
weigh batcher using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed side
formwork (Steel channel, laying and fixing of wedges, steel plates
including levelling the formwork, as per drawing), spreading the
concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, and plate
vibrators, finished in continuous operation and curing of concrete slabs
for 14 days, using curing compound where specified and water finishing

concrete laid manually, all complete, as per drawing and as per
direction of Employer's Representative.
Total Rs. Five Crores Thirty Four Lakhs Eighty Six Thousand Six Hundred only. 5,34,86,800

Note :- All DI Pipes, DI Fittings, Valves, Cement etc. will be provided by Company on the request of the
Contractor and its cost will be recovered by the company from the payment of bills to the Contractor
on actual basis.

Terms and Conditions

1. All the work will have to be done as per the specifications and the provisions of the tender
document issued by the principal employer. Work will be done as per the directions of
Company engineer and EiC of Principal Employer to their satisfaction.

2. The agreed rates are fixed and final without any escalation whatsoever and inclusive of GST.

3. Break- up of payment :- The payment will be released as per following break-up :-

A. Pipeline work :-
v 60% Payment on laying & jointing of pipelines and refilling of trenches with proper
compaction.
v 20 % Payment after successful sectional hydro testing.
v 5 % Payment on disposal of surplus soil to designated site and clearance of work site.
v 15 % Payment on successful commissioning and submission of as build drawings.

B. Valve chamber and Restoration work :-

v Payment of VTCs, valve chambers & air valve pillars will be done after completion of
one full unit at the agreed rates. Payment for road cutting & road restoration will be

made after completion of a job at particular site. No part payment will be allowed for
these items.

C. House Connection work :-

v 75% after making functional household water connection and repairing of Roads.
v 10% after 7 days of water supply being available through the connection and making
entry of consumer in IMIS website and verification by VWSC/ third party (if necessary).
v 15% after successful commissioning of the work.

4. The contractor has deposited with the company a duly signed PDC to the company as security
for the above said work

5. Deducions :-
a. TDS shall be deducted by the Company as per applicable rules and rates.
b. 5 % amount of every running bill will be witheld as security deposit which will be
released after satisfactory performance of the executed work and its acceptance by
the department.

6. GST input credit will be provided by the Contractor to the company on bill to bill basis right
from payment of first RA bill. That means, GST amount paid to Contractor by
the company against previous bill should be reflected as input credit in GSTR 2A
of company before the payment of next RA bill. If this is not done, such GST amount shall be
retained by the company for recovery of GST input credit.

7. For claiming payment, the Contractor shall submit the bills to the Company. Bill shall be
verified by the site engineer and counter signed by project manager/project-in-charge with
recommendation for payment which will be released within a week’s period.

8. You should follow all the labour laws for minimum wages, provident fund, contract labour and
maintaining records etc. and also strictly follow the safety measures, helmets, safety jackets &
other safety equipments at site.

9. You will depute trained and capable people to carryout the work continuously without fail.

10. VPRPL “the Company” reserve the right to terminate the contract at any time with no
compensation, if found your performance not up to the mark.

11. Time Period :- The completion period of this work is Six months.

12. Delay in work :- The company has full rights to take the balance portion of work back giving
verbal or written notice of 3 days, in case/there is any delay in execution of the said work on
the part of Contractor or whenever the Contractor has not achieved requisite pro-rata progress
of work, and the company reserves right to give the balance work to any other agency on the
risk and cost of Contractor. Further, the company may consider deduction of suitable amount
as penalty.

13. All dispute or difference of opinion on account of interpretation of clauses, technical

specification etc. shall be resolved through direct and mutual discussion at site level. In case of
difference of opinion still persisting, the decision of Head Office “the Company” shall be final
and binding on both the parties.
