Bismillah alladhi la yadurru ma’a smihi shay fi-l ardhi wa la fi s-sama wa huwa as-Sami’ u l’Alim (x 3)
In the name of Allah with whose name nothing is harmed on earth nor in the heavens and He is
The All-Seeing, The All-Knowing (x3)

ّ رضيت با) ر ّبا و باإلسالم دينا وبمحمد
Radiytu billah Rabban wa bil islam dinan wa bi Muhammad
(alayhi salat wa salam) nabiyan (x 3)
I am pleased with Allah as a Lord, and Islam as a religion and Muhammad peace
be upon to him as a Prophet (x 3)

ّ حسبي " ال إاله إالّ ھو عليه تو ّكلت و ھو
رب العرش العظيم
Hasbi Allah la ilaha illa huwa, ‘alayhi tawakkalt, wa huwa Rabbi l-‘arch il ‘adhim (x 7)
Allah is Sufficient for me, none has the right to be worshipped except Him,
upon Him I rely and He is Lord of the exalted throne (x 7)

لا حيّ لا قيوم ب ّرحستك أفتغيث أصعح لي يو هّلك ينأال تكعني إال نففي طرية علن
Ya Hayyu ya Qayyum bi raHmatika astaghayth, aslaH li cha-ni kullah wa la takilni ila nafsi tarfata ‘ayn
O Ever Living, O Self-Subsisting and Supporter of all, by Your mercy
I seek assistance, rectify for me all of my affairs and do not leave me to myself,
even for the blink of an eye

، ـط ْعـت ْ َوأَنا َعلـى َع ْھـ ِد َك َو َو ْعـ ِد َك ما
، ص َن ْـعت َ ـر ما ِّ شَ ْأَعـو ُذ ِب َك مِن
َّ أَبـو ُء َلـ َك ِبن ِْعـ َمتِـ َك َع َل
ـي
َ نـوب إِالّ أَ ْن
ت ْ َوأَبـو ُء ِب َذ ْنـبي َف
َ اغفـِ ْر لي َفإِ َّنـ ُه ال َي ْغـ ِف ُر ال ُّذ
Allahuma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa ant, khalaqtani wa ana ‘abduka wa ana ‘ala ‘ahdika wa wa’dika ma stata’tu,
a’udhu bika min charri ma sana’tu, abu-u laka bini’matika ‘alaya, wa abu-u bidhanbi faghfirli ; fa innahu la yaghfir
adh-dhunub illa anta
O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You, You created me and I am Your servant
and I abide to Your covenant and promise as best I can, I take refuge in You from the evil of which I have
committed. I acknowledge Your favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for verily none can
forgive sin except You

ْ ت َو ِ ـر الس ّماوا َ ِب َو اْلشـّھادَ ةِ فاط ِ اللّھـ َّ ُم عا ـ َم اِلغـَي
، ش َھـ ُد أَنْ ال إِلـ َه إِالّ أَ ْنت
ْ َ أ، ـيء َو َمليـ َكه
ٍ ش َ ِّ ب كـل َّ َر
ـطان َوشِ ْـركِه
ِ ش ْي َّ ـر ال َ ـر َن ْفسـي َومِن
ِّ ش ِّ شَ أَعـو ُذ ِب َك مِن
Allahumma ‘alim alghaybi wa chahada, faaTiri ssamawati wal ardh Rabbi kulli shay-in wa malikih,
ash-hadu ann la ilaha illa ant, a’udhi bika min sharri nafsi, wa min sharri shayTan wa shirkih
O Allah, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Creator of the heavens and the Earth, Lord and Sovereign of all things,
I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except You. I take refuge in You from the evil of my soul
and from the evil and shirk of the devil

ـل َوسـوءِ ا ْلكِـ َبر ِ سَ ب أَعـو ُذ ِب َك مِنَ ا ْل َك ِّ َر

AsbaHna wa asbaHa lmulku lillah, wal Hamdu lillah, la ilaha illa Allah waHdahu la sharika lah,
lahu lmulku wa lahu lHamdu wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay-in Qadir. Allahumma inni as-aluka khayra
ma fi hadha-lyawm wa khayra ma ba’adahu, wa a’udhu bika min sharri ma fi hadha-lyawm
wa sharri ma ba’dahu. Rabbi a’udhu bika min alkasali wa su-i lkibr,
Rabbi a’udhu bika min ‘adhab fi n-nar wa ‘adhab fi l-qabr
We have reached the morning and at this very time unto Allah belongs all sovereignty, and all praise is for Allah.
None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise
and He is over all things omnipotent. My Lord, I ask You for the good of this day and the good of what follows it
and I take refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil of what follows it. My Lord, I take refuge in You from
laziness and senility. My Lord, I take refuge in You from torment in the Fire and punishment in the grave.

مـوت َوإِ َلـ ْي َك ال ِّنـشور
ُ َ صـ َب ْحنا َو ِب َك أَ ْم
َو ِب َك َن ْحـيا َو ِب َك َن، سـينا ْ َال ّل ُھـ َّم ِب َك أ
Allahumma bika aSbaHna wa bika amsayna, wa bika naHya wa bika namutu, wa ilayka n-nushur
O Allah, by your leave we have reached the morning and by Your leave
we have reached the evening, by Your leave we live and die and unto You is our resurrection

، اإلخـالص ْ َو َعلـى َكلِـ َم ِة، اإلسالم ْ ـر ِة َ صـ َب ْحنا علـى ف ِْط ْ َأ
ِ دين َن ِبـ ِّينا ُم َحـ َّم ٍد َو َعاـى ِم َّلـ ِة أبينـا إِ ْبـراھيـ َم َحنيـفا ً ُم ْسلِـما ً َومـا كـانَ مِنَ ال ُم
شـركيـن ِ َوعلـى
ASbaHna ‘ala fiTrati l-islam wa kalimat al ikhlas wa ‘ala din nabiyna Muhammad ‘alayhi salat iwa salam wa ‘ala
millati abi-ina Ibrahim Hanifan musliman wa ma kana min al mushrikin
We have awoken on the fitrah of Islam and the word of sincerity and the religion of our Prophet Muhammad
(alayhi salat wa salam) and the way of our father Ibrahim, pure monotheism, and he was not of those who
associate others with Allaah.

Allahumma inni as-aluka al ‘afiya fi d-dunya wal-akhira, Allahumma inni as-aluka l-‘afwa wa l-‘afiya fi diyni wa
dunya-i wa ahli wa mali, Allahumma astur ‘awrati wa min raw’ati, Allahumma aHfidhni min bayna yadi wa min
khalfi wa ‘an yamini, wa ‘an shimali, wa min fawQi, wa a’udhu bi’adhimatika an aghtal min taHti
O Allah, I ask You for pardon in this life and the next. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religious
and worldly affairs, and my family and my wealth. O Allah, veil my weaknesses and set at ease my dismay. O Allah,
preserve me from the front and from behind and on my right and on my left and from above, and I take refuge with
You lest I be swallowed up by the earth
ال إله إالّ " وحده ال شريك له له الملك و له الحمد و ھو قدير شيء كل ّ على
La ilaha illa Allah, waHdahu la sharika lah, lahu lmulku wa lahu lHamdu
wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay-in Qadir (x 100)

None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs
all sovereignty and praise, and He is over all things omnipotent (x 100)
