Do you know that we are destroying our environment by our everyday activities? We are cutting down too
many trees and burning the forests. We are wasting too much water and power. We are burning too much coal,
oil and gas. We are also polluting the air, the land, the rivers and the oceans by producing too much gas and
trash. Moreover, we are destroying a lot of wild plants and animals. That's the reason why lots of animals are
in danger.
So do you know what we should do and should not do to protect the environment? First, don't damage
trees, plant them. Second, don’t throw trash on the streets or into the rivers, put it in a trash can. Third, we
shouldn't waste water and power. When we see a dripping faucet, turn it off. Or switching a light off when we
don't need it is also a good way to save power. Next, we should collect empty bottles, cans, waste paper, scrap
metal and old plastic and recycle them. Finally, encourage people around us to do these things because
protecting the environment is what everyone should take part in.
