\am writing to bring to your attention a series of unfortunate events that have significantly
impacted my attendance and academic performance this semester,
Approximately four months ago, on 25th January 2024, | was diagnosed with acute viral
hepatitis, a condition that required me to undergo a strict regimen of bed rest for one month as
advised by my physician, Consequently, | was unable to attend classes during this period,
Despite my best efforts to recuperate, the aftermath of the Illness lingered, leaving me
vulnerable to frequent bouts of sickness throughout the semester, (Dates: 7th, 10th, 21st of
March, 29th April and 13th May)
\ am attaching all relevant medical documents detalling my diagnosis, treatment, and
subsequent follow-ups to provide comprehensive evidence of the challenges | have faced, |
assure you that these circumstances were beyond my control, and | am deeply committed to
‘making up for the lost time and ensuring that my academic responsibilities are fulfilled,
\ humbly request your understanding and compassion in considering my attendance for the
current semester, | understand the importance of maintaining regular attendance and fulfilling
academic requirements.
Your understanding and support in this matter would mean a great deal to me, and | am more
than willing to provide any further information or documentation required to assist you in your
decision-making process. | eagerly await your response and am hopeful for a favorable
resolution,
