SLT Licensing is determined by the target system of the replication. If the license of target system
includes the use of SLT, no separate SLT license needs to be purchased. In any other case, a SLT Full
license is required.

SLT Runtime License SLT Full License (2 options)

The following SAP HANA and SAP Data Hub licenses

SLT Deployment

SLT is deployed onPremise only.

S/4HANA oP

1. In case of a S/4HANA system, SLT is included. SLT

Note, that S/4HANA as central SLT system is only released for dedicated scenarios
such as the replication to SAP systems (like S/4HANA, SAP Central Finance, SAP source and/or central system
Business Suite etc.), SAP HANA, SAP Data Hub, SAP Data Intelligence, and so on.
S/4HANA oP as source system is supported for all common scenarios.
SLT (DMIS AddOn)

2. In case of any other ABAP-based system, SLT can be installed ABAP-based System
via DMIS Addon. The latest version is DMIS 2018 SP02. (e.g. ECC, SAP NetWeaver, SAP BW)

There are different delpoyment options depending on the scenario and the system involved.
The recommended setup is to have a Central SLT System (I). In that case, the DMIS Addon needs to be installed also on the Source
System (in case it is an ABAP-based source system).

• SLT 3.0 = New technical release of SAP LT Replication Server

• New Addon: DMIS 2018 (= feature compatible with DMIS 2011 SP15)
• In the future, new functionality for the central system, that relies on SAP NetWeaver ≥ 7.52, will only
be shipped in SLT 3.0. The code split will take place with DMIS 2018 SP02 and DMIS 2011 SP17
