 Selection of Candidates on MBBS Vacant Seats in
Private Sector Medical & Dental Colleges in Punjab
Session 2023-2024

PUBLIC NOTICE

1. As per Vacant Seat Policy of Government of the Punjab (vide No. SO(ME-II)2-1/2023
dated 27th February, 2024), 44 seats have been allocated in the first phase (dated
March 07, 2024).

2. All remaining eligible candidates (from Sr. No. 122-333 in the Merit List of MBBS Non-
Joiners- https://uhs.edu.pk/1stselectionvacant.php) and (from Sr. No. 1-6 in the Merit
List of BDS Joined Candidates- https://uhs.edu.pk/1stselectionvacant1.php) are
hereby called to appear before the UHS’ Admission Committee on Friday- March 08,
2024 at 09:00 AM, for on-spot allocation.

3. It must be noted that Reporting Time for all Candidates shall be 09:00 AM and
doors shall be closed at 09:30 AM (at Shams Auditorium, University of Health
Sciences, Lahore) and seats shall be filled on the basis of top merit (it means that the
person having higher merit will be called first and will opt his/ her preference as per
merit and vacant seat in colleges of corresponding merit). Accordingly, the candidates
are advised to must bring along their original documents and Bank Draft/ Pay Order
amounting to 100,000 PKR as Admission Token Fee (in favor of UHS,
Lahore) For Pay Order/ Bank Draft (UHS FTN No.9021299-5).

4. Failure to report at the University as per given time and date shall result in cancellation
of candidature. It must be noted that filling of vacant seats shall be purely on merit
and physical appearance of the candidate as per given time and date. Once number
of vacant seats is filled, the remaining candidates may not have the chance
avail this facility. The list of colleges with remaining vacant seats and their closing
merit is available on UHS Website and the candidates are advised to be prepare
themselves for allocation beforehand. Candidates admitted to vacant seats shall
deposit prescribed college fee and report to the respective colleges by the specified
deadline. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of admission and forfeiture of
the admission token fee.

5. It must also be noted that in-person appearance of the candidate before the Admission
Committee is mandatory. Once candidate has selected his preferred college and signed
admission form (as per Order of Merit and Vacant Seat available in the college of
corresponding merit), the seat allocated shall be deemed non-transferrable.
