Sub:- Unauthorised laying of Pipeline along I acrossthe PWDroad.
Sir,
It is noticed that Gas pipe lines are being laid unauthorisedly along the PWDRoads
excavating their shoulders by your company for which no permission has been granted by
this division. At some places damages have been occurred to the paved shoulders. The
trenches I pits have been left open without taking any traffic safety measures which may
cause inconvenience to commuters. Print Media have also raised concern over the
unauthorised activities taken up by your company on the busy PWDroads within Keonjhar
town. Paper clippings are attached herewith for your reference.
In view of the above, it is requested to take necessary steps in order to stop such
illegal excavation &:laying of pipes on the road shoulders without obtaining permission and
take up immediate repair works to the damages in consultation with our field engineers at
the earliest else action as deemed proper will be initiated.
Estimate is being prepared for permanent restoration of the damages to its
precondition and will be submitted soon to you for deposit funds with this department.
