Are you SAVED?

It is inevitable. The Word of God describes a scene in

Matthew, It says two people are working together but one will
be taken...

Matthew 24:40

AMP: At that time two men will be in the field; one will be
taken and one will be left.

NLT: "Two men will be working together in the field; one will
be taken, the other left.

Matthew 24:41

AMP: Two women will be grinding at the hand mill; one will be
taken and one will be left.

NLT: Two women will be grinding flour at the mill; one will be
taken, the other left.

The rapture WILL come to pass, whether we like it or not,

whether we are ready or not, even if you haven't found love or
riches yet. It will surely come.

How are we preparing for that day, for it is a day we do not

know the time or the hour. Scripture says the Lord will come
as a thief in the night. Without "warning" we might say but
scripture sounds a lot of warning to us abo

DayNote
ure sounds a lot of warning to us about the Day of the Lord.

Purpose and time is of the essence, it is very important that

the time we have is being utilized e ectively.

Mary has found that which is important and it will not be taken
from her, Jesus said and the words of the Lord is true. It is
also true that we have to guard that treasure we have found,
hold it firmly lest it falls from our hand.

The Word of God doesn't lie.

Apostle Paul says in the Corinthians that he presses onward

towards the goal so that after preaching to others about
Jesus, he won't become a castaway...

1 Corinthians 9:26

KJV: I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as

one that beateth the air:

NLT: So I run straight to the goal with purpose in every step. I

am not like a boxer who misses his punches.

1 Corinthians 9:27

KJV: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection:

lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I
myself should be a castaway.

DayNote
ir="ltr" style="margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0;">NLT: I
discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it
should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I
myself might be disqualified

Which brings us to a question, is it possible to lose our

salvation?

My answer is yes,

Scripture says the very elect will be deceived...

St. Mark 13:22

KJV: For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall
shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even
the elect.

NLT: For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and
perform miraculous signs and wonders so as to deceive, if
possible, even God's chosen ones.

Another scripture points out that even as the Lord knows his
people, let anyone that calls on the name of Christ depart
from iniquity.

2 Timothy 2:19

KJV: Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure,

having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And,

re his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ
depart from iniquity.

NLT: But God's truth stands firm like a foundation stone with
this inscription: "The Lord knows those who are his," and
"Those who claim they belong to the Lord must turn away
from all wickedness."

so yes I believe that our salvation can be lost if we don't

constantly with conscious e ort cherish and value Jesus's
priceless sacrifice on the cross. Hebrews chapter 2 talks
about this.

Another chapter talks about the consequence of backsliding

after being VERY enlightened.

Hebrews 6:4

KJV: For it is impossible for those who were once

enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were
made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

NLT: For it is impossible to restore to repentance those who

were once enlightened—those who have experienced the
good things of heaven and shared in the Holy Spirit,

Hebrews 6:5

KJV: And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers
of the world to come,

NLT: who have tasted the goodness of

DayNote

the word of God and the power of the age to come—

Hebrews 6:6

KJV: If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto

repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of
God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

NLT: and who then turn away from God. It is impossible to

bring such people to repentance again because they are
nailing the Son of God to the cross again by rejecting him,
holding him up to public shame.

This verses refer to an already empowered christian, one I

would refer to as an elect.

This goes against popular belief that we can run back to the
Father like the prodigal son so far as the rapture hasn't yet
occurred; which isn't a lie.

The condition in the verse isn't the quantity of the

backslide(amount of time we have sinned) but the quality.

It isn't "I lied and I stole and I'm sorry" but it is "I'm sorry but
not sorry, there's a better life than what salvation has to o er
or I have tasted God's divine Presence and it doesn't appeal
to me."

DayNote
bottom:0;">This brings us to another question.

is all sin equal?

My answer to this would be yes and no.

All sin is equal in the view that it separates us from God, no

matter how small.

but when we look at verses like

Mark 3:28-29 that talks about the unforgivable sin we have a

clear answer.

St. Mark 3:28

KJV: Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the
sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall
blaspheme:

NLT: " I assure you that any sin can be forgiven, including
blasphemy;

St. Mark 3:29

KJV: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath
never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

NLT: but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will
never be forgiven. It is an eternal sin. "

As free as it is, salvation isn't to be toyed with.

It should be valued, treasured, and not compromised.DayNote
