SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT:

▪ Responsible for improving existing buying processes and systems in Supply Chain Management of
Indirect Materials (Machineries, Spares, Material Handling Equipment’s & Consumables) for GA- Line,
Battery Shop, Weld shop and Paint shop.

▪ Planning and budgeting of purchase functions, involving cost estimation, contractnegotiations.

▪ Communicate with suppliers and follow ups on arranging delivery of goods, quantity& location.
▪ Liaison with finance department for timely payment of bills.
▪ Ensuring that the highest supplier performance standards are met.
▪ Managing the relationships with suppliers within an assigned category of spend.
▪ Developing reports on procurement and usage of materials for top management.
▪ Development of alternative local sources for High spend items which helps in costsaving.

financial losses.
▪ LOGISTICS & WAREHOUSE:

▪ Timely placement of Schedule/ Indent, Same day collection of VOR/Critical parts, to keep Schedule for all
parts against reqt/indent.
▪ All Parts to be received with correct part number tagged
▪ Regular coordination with materials/shops/buyers to pull parts based on requirements.
▪ 100% Inventory accuracy in receipts of parts/consumables at ORG transit Warehouse.
▪ Timely Prepacking of parts by using right consumables
▪ GIT monitoring and control- No parts in GIT unattended beyond 24 hrs.
▪ 100% Accurate counting and receipt of parts/packing and dispatch to SPD
▪ No Wrong items to be dispatched
▪ No excess items to be received/dispatched
▪ Discrepancy if any to be closed within 3 days
▪ Daily Follow up and pull Pending Order parts for all Bout Items, to keep pending orders (current &
noncurrent) below 5 lakhs by value all the times.
▪ Minimum 1-2 Improvement activities to be planned and conduct Kaizen events
▪ 5S and Visual control, Housekeeping of all areas of warehouse
▪ Implementation of Lean Warehousing concepts
▪ Records and pictures on all improvements made (before & after) and sent on Monthly Basis.
▪ SPD issues coordination on all matters for timely closure
▪ Coordinate with vendors/SPD for timely availability of consumables, No part to wait for consumable
stock.
