Busduct and accessories. Please read this installation manual carefully
before you unpacking the crate case.
In order to ensure product best performance. Before proceed with any
installation, operation and maintenance of DE Busduct, we strongly advise
electrical engineers, electrical contractors, electricians, maintenance
engineers follow instruction exactly.
These valuable guidelines will be important information to keep it
now or future reference are recommend.
1
PACKING LIST
• Carefully dismantle the wooden crates to avoid products damage. If not
necessary, don't broke the crates.
• Please check the quantity correctly which shown in the packing list once
you receive the goods by tally the stickers which provided on the wooden

• Protect the goods and store it correctly will retain valid period of warranty and
goods functional (Figure 3).
o Indoor busduct storage precaution:
• Ensure store environment is clean, dry place and avoid liquids, salts, corrosive or
fumes possibilities. Humidity maintain between 25% and 40%.
• Outdoor busduct and indoor busduct should be use the same way to store until
they are installed.

PRE-INSTALLATION
• Ensure have good communication with related site personnel for proper
planning and coordination in good site storage condition without water leak.
• Deliver the goods to its installation location before unpacking. Caution: Never
use busduct ends for lifting. Check and conduct insulation test 500V(DC) and
measure values must over 100mega ohm for each busduct before installation.
• The successful operation will follow fundamental installation manual in dry and
clean area, preferable storage area is nearer to installation site. Having the
waterproof cover to protect the busduct from humid, dirt, water and damage.
Keep it above the ground and do the installation at the soonest.
• Proper crane is use to lift the busduct section and use a spreader (Figure 4)
according to manual.

MAINTENANCE &
THERMAL MONITOR
Figure 13.0 Figure 13.1
• Inspect the busduct system periodically and identify potential hot spots
at easy indication by Thermal Label provided by the DE (Figure 13.0)
• If there are signs of overheating, Thermal Label Figure 13.0 will be turn
into shown as Figure 13.1. Inspection & monitoring is required.
18
COMMISSIONING &
ENERGIZING
• Don't energize the busduct before performing insulation resistance
test. Isolate the busduct section and megger the busduct system.
Minimum readings should be no less then:
1. Mega ohms (MΩ) = 200/ length of run in foot.
2. Mega ohms (MΩ) = 66/ length of run in meter.
