Position: Corporate Social Investment Intern

Division: Social Investments


Closing Date for Applications: 2 February 2024
Duration of Internship: 12 months

Academic qualifications:

 Tertiary qualification from a recognised institution is essential

Work Experience:

 No particular job experience is required for this role


 Preferably someone who has not interned previously. Otherwise; the maximum
number of internships previously completed elsewhere, is one (1)
 The candidate must not have worked professionally elsewhere as this role will not be
used for career transition purposes – previous work experience may include entry
level employment

Core Competency Skills:

 MS Office professional - Word, Excel and PowerPoint


 Good verbal and written communication skills
 Attention to detail
 Good interpersonal skills
 Multi-tasking skills

Personality attributes:

 Flexible and adaptable with an ability to multi-task


 Willingness to learn
 Hands-on and involved
 Ability to work individually after being given tasks without constant monitoring
 Able to take criticism and improve for growth
 Hard-worker who works well under pressure and is deadline focused and results
driven
 Desire to gain good work experience
 Passion for making a meaningful contribution in people’s lives

Core task requirements/


Responsibilities:

 Assisting consultants and working on social investment initiatives


 Assist consultants by communicating information to CSI beneficiaries where
necessary
 Assisting consultants in preparation for and during events

Please note that:

 The role requires a lot of data capturing on Excel


 The individual will be assisting with a lot of administration
 The individual will be required to assist different consultants at the same time with
different tasks
 Age: The candidate must not be over the age of 26
