Graduation Rites

INTRODUCTION
A pleasant afternoon! I’m Carl Anthony L. Pahuyo, your host for today. I’m delighted to be here
before your 6th Senior High School Graduation Rites.

Before we begin, Let me remind you that during the presentation of graduates, we encourage you
to express your pride by applauding but shouting and cheering are strictly discourage
Another reminders, giving pf garlands and taking photos to the graduates will be done right after
the ceremony.
Therefore, as mentioned , courtesy, attention and decorum are important.

PROCESSIONAL
Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to our 6th Graduation Rites with the theme: “ Kabataang
Pilipino Para sa Matatag na kinabukasan ng Bagong Pilipinas.
With pride and Honor, let us all welcome the candidates for graduation of school year 2023-2024 in
their processional.
Leading the processional is the graduating class of batch 2023-2024, together with their beloved
parents/ Guardians.
Tailing next are the officials of Barangay Basag headed by our Barangay Captain, Hon. Delia A.
Tingas.
Following the group are the SPTA Officers headed by our SPTA President Mr. Edgar B. Dolero.
Nest in line, we have the faculty and staff of Basag National High School headed by our dear School
Head Mr. Valentin S. Catuburan.
Following are the School Heads and Principals form different schools of East Butuan District 2.
Our Education Program Supervisor in Values Education at the same time the Division Senior High
School Coordinator Dr. Israel B. Reveche, together with our very own School District Supervisor Dr. Rogelio
S. Sultan.
NATIONAL ANTHEM/ INVOCATION
To begin the ceremony, may I request everyone to stand as we pay tribute to our National Flag
through the singing of or National Anthem to be conducted by the Grade 10 adviser Ms. Gretcel P. Pelino
and to be followed by an invocation by the graduating class.

Today’s graduation marks the best time for our graduates as the will reap the fruits of their
sacrifices and perseverance.

In this celebration, we’d first like to greet the people who grace the affair. To our distinguished and
highly esteemed members of the academic community let by the dynamic and supportive Schools Division
Superintendent, Dr. Minerva T. Albas who is ably represented by our Education Program Supervisor in
Values Education at the same time the Division Senior High School Coordinator Dr. Israel B. Reveche.
To our beloved own School District Supervisor Dr. Rogelio S. Sultan who constantly supported us.
To the different School Head and Principals of East 2. To our equally supportive School Head Mr. Valentin S.
Catuburan. To our SPTA Oficcers headed by our president, Mr. Edgar B. Dolero. To the distinguished
visitors, colleagues, graduating class, parents and guardians, once again Good Afternoon.

WELCOME GREETINGS
At this point, to formally welcome us all, please greet with a warm applause, Jonalyn Asutigue, class
with honors, for her welcome address.
That was definitely welcoming, Thank you Ms. Asutugue.

PRESENTATION/ RECOMMENDATION/ CONFIRMATION

At this juncture, to do the honor of presenting this year’s candidates for graduation please welcome
the School Head Mr. Valentin S. Catuburan, this is to be followed right away with the recommendation of
East 2 Supervisor, Dr. Rogelio S. Sultan, and the confirmation of the graduates by Our Education Program
Supervisor in Values Education at the same time the Division Senior High School Coordinator Dr. Israel B.
Reveche.

MESSAGE
Now, let us be emboldened with the graduation message from our School’s Division
Superintendent, Dr. Minerva T. Albis, who is ably represented by our Education Program Supervisor in
Values Education at the same time the Division Senior High School Coordinator Dr. Israel B. Reveche.
Thank you Sir for that very inspiring message.
 ( despite the challenges and adversities, you graduates are tangible proof that Filipino youth are
resilient.)

DISTRIBUTION OF DIPLOMA
A certificate of graduation is the tangible evidence of being a graduate in a certain level of
education. This is now the fruit of their endeavor. So, at this juncture may we have the presence of the
following people on the stage once more, our honored guest our Education Program Supervisor in Values
Education at the same time the Division Senior High School Coordinator Dr. Israel B. Reveche together with
our School District Supervisor Dr. Rogelio S. Sultan, and our School Head Mr. Valentin S. Catuburan, to do
the honor of the distribution of certificates of graduation to our young graduates, and this will be assisted
with the rest distinguished visitors.

Congratulations once again! That concludes the awarding of certificates of diploma to our
graduates. Now, you have the ticket to aim higher and dream bigger. Brace yourselves and be prepared for

AWARDING OF MEDALS
At this moment, please lend me your ears as we move on to the awarding of medals to deserving
graduates.
To the parents and guardians whenever your child is being called please come onstage. Again, may
we invite our distinguished guests, our Education Program Supervisor in Values Education at the same
time the Division Senior High School Coordinator Dr. Israel B. Reveche together with our School District
Supervisor Dr. Rogelio S. Sultan, and our School Head Mr. Valentin S. Catuburan, to do the honor of
awarding to our outstanding graduates.
(My warmest congratulations to all of you! Certainly, the thing you just received is a tangible proof
of your industry and determination).

WORDS OF THANKSGIVING
This time, one of the graduates today will tell her story of achievement and warm thanksgiving. Let
us receive with resonating applause JENELYN TULOP, class with honors.

PLEDGE OF LOYALTY
Persistence and perseverance are some of the key factors for the success of the graduates we are
about to mention. Please join Mr. Nicole P. Cepres in reciting the pledge of loyalty.
GRADUATION SONG
In every memorable moment of one’s life, there are always songs that will embody inferred
emotions, convey hope and courage amidst all the challenges. With a round of applause, let us welcome
the Senior High School Graduates in their graduation song entitled “ TODAY MY LIFE BEGIN”
That surely was a heartfelt song rendition! Congratulations graduates!

TRIBUTE TO PARENTS
As we scrutinizing the significance of this momentous event, an event which I believe that is very
important and place significant role of becoming a versatile and competent graduates. It tell us, that today
is not just a day where we are celebrating for the exultation that we had, but most importantly a day of
benevolence, a time to express gratitude to the people behind the success.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Let us all withness the graduates as they pay tribute to their parents and
Guardians.

CLOSING REMARKS
There is beauty in every beginning, but I think, there’s more in every ending. Ladies and Gentlemen,
to end this memorable event, may we call in our School PTA President, Mr. Edgar B. Dolero, for his closing
remarks.

In behalf of the Basag NHS Faculty and staff, we would like to acknowledge the undending support
and generosity of the stakeholders of Basag National High School, The Barangay Officials headed by our
ever supportive Brgy. Captain, Hon. Delia A. Tingas, to the SPTA Officers Through the leadership of Mr.
Edgar B. Dolero and to the parents. We thank you for the active participation and cooperation for the
betterment of the students and schools throughout its activities in this School Year 2023-2024. Once Again,
