RESOLUTION No. 2022-59
A RESOLUTION OF THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF CABINGTAN, RECOGNIZING THE CABINTAN
WOMEN FARMERS ASSOCIATION (CWFA) AS ONE OF THE ASSOCIATION IN THE BARANGAY.
WHEREAS, Cabintan Women Farmers Association (CWFA) is a barangay-based people’s organization in
Barangay Cabingtan, Ormoc City;
WHEREAS, Cabintan Women Farmers Association (CWFA) is a newly organized group of women-farmers
who decided to form an association that would engage in agribusiness to help augment the income
of their husbands and improve conditions of their families;
WHEREAS, Cabintan Women Farmers Association (CWFA) is engaged in buying vegetables especially the
produce of their husbands which are then sold tourists and locals;
WHEREAS, Cabintan Women Farmers Association (CWFA) has been accredited from the Sangguniang
Panlungsod, with Resolution No. 2022-090, dated September 27, 2022;
WHEREAS, Cabintan Women Farmers Association (CWFA) is committed to pursue initiatives for food security
and contribute in making tourism flourish in Barangay Cabingtan;
NOW, THEREFORE, on motion by SB Member Benjamin R. Rivera and seconded by All SB
Members present in session, of all members present, be it;
RESOLVED, as it is hereby RESOLVED to pass, A RESOLUTION OF THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF
CABINGTAN, RECOGNIZING THE CABINTAN WOMEN FARMERS ASSOCIATION (CWFA) AS
ONE OF THE ASSOCIATION IN THE BARANGAY.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be given to Liga ng mga Barangay, City Mayor’s Office,
City Tourism Office, Cabintan Women Farmers Association (CWFA), DILG and other concerned
offices/departments.
