E: With so much cheer, let us give a resounding applause for the entrance of the
candidates for graduation for School year 2021-2022 together with their proud
parents and guardian.

S: Starting with the honor graduates…. followed by the Master of Arts in

E: A warm applause to the graduate of Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice

INTRO:
E: Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Graduation day is always a day of
celebration for it marks the conclusion of an educational journey and the
commencement of another new chapter of a more uncertain and more difficult
part of man’s quest for a better life and future.

S: Truly, today signifies the peak of many years of hard work in the relentless
pursuit of Knowledge: the knowledge that will enable a person to embrace
opportunities and take on challenges with a clear vision and purpose.

E: Likewise, today is a celebration of the success of the pioneers of the K-12,


whom we all know had embarked and succeeded in facing all the uncertainty of
time.

S: Friends, Welcome to Northwestern Visayan Colleges 74th Commencement

E: At this juncture, to formally welcome us all to this momentous event, May I call
on one of the members of the Board of Directors, a warm applause to Dr.

E: Thank you Ms. Espino, and Yes, I agree that in order to succeed we always give
it our all and never quit.
PRESENTATION AND CONFIRMATION:

S. At this juncture, for the presentation and Confirmation of Graduates, starting


with the Master of Arts in Education, May I call on, Dr. Marianne Lao, Quimpo,
dean of College of Education to present the candidates for graduation, and will
be confirmed by our president, Allan Angelo L. Quimpo.

E: For the presentation of candidates for graduation for the Master in Public
Administration, may we call on Dr. Dennis I Ibutnande, Dean, College Criminal
Justice Education.

S: For the Bachelor in Secondary Education, Bachelor in Elementary Education,

this momentous event.

E: Today also joining with us are honorable guests who had made Northwestern
Visayan proud, our Alumni, and to honor their hard work and achievements,
may we call on, Dr. Vicente S. Quimpo, Board of Directors, to Award the Plaque
of Appreciation to the Outstanding Alumni.

are graduates will bring with them the lessons and inspirations you shared with
us today.
IMPOSITION OF HOODS, AWARDING OF MEDALS TO HONORS AND SPECIAL
AWARD

E: We are also gathered here today to pay recognition to students who did their
best in their academic journey. Ladies and gentlemen, we will be moving on to
the imposition of Hoods to the Graduates, Awarding of Medals to the
graduates with honors and special awards, and the distribution of Diplomas to
be as sited by the respective Deans.

S: As we call on the name of the department, we request the students to fall in


line in the center and the respective parents to come over to the imposition of
the hood (except for the graduate programs).

her valedictory speech, let’s give a resounding applause to Jessa Jane Arboleda,
BSED Cum Laude.
E: Thank you Jessa Jane Arboleda, indeed your graduating class has endured and
overcome exceptional uncertainty and challenges, especially with the struggles
brought by this pandemic, yet you succeeded in conquering this quest.

S: We will now witness the graduates as they state their Pledge of Loyalty to their
Alma Mater, to be led by Ms. Shiela Marie Caliguiran, BCAED, Cumlaude

E: Thank you, Ms. Shiela. As we are about to end this momentous event, let us
also pay tribute to the sacrifices and dedication of our Dear parents, graduates
kindly rise, and let us all give a proud and resounding applause to our dear
parents.

S: Ladies and gentlemen, please remain standing for the Exit of Colors.

E: Graduates, be bold, courageous, and be your best. Your journey is never-


ending. There’s always going to be growth, improvement, and adversity; you’ve
just got to take it all in and do what’s right, continue to grow, and continue to
live in the moment.

S: To dream high is like reaching for the stars. Wherever you go, go with all your
heart. If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door so that success will come to
you. Face the challenges confidently and be positive in overcoming them.
