Application for Payment of Promotion Arrears

I humbly write to request for the payment of my promotion arrears. I got promoted to the rank of
Lecturer II CONUASS II with effect from October 1, 2022. Ever since I received the promotion, I have
already doubled on the good works that earned me the promotion but it is sad that I have not started
receiving the new salary for the new rank not to talk of promotion arrears. The two months 25%/35%
salary increment arrears that was paid recently, I was paid based on my former rank.

Summary of issues

1. Still receiving salary of my former rank

2. Yet to receive promotion arrears

3. Two months arrears for the 25%/35% salary increment paid based on my old rank

I humbly plead that my promotion arrears from the date of promotion (October 1, 2022) till date, and
also the differential in what was paid to me against what was supposed to be paid to me for the 25/35%
arrears, be computed and paid to me, while my new salary commences.

*Course Advisor to 137 students

*Project supervisor to 93 B.Sc students and 24 M.Sc students

*Clerk of Works in MOUAU - A liason between the university and the contractors, Maintaining register
of the ongoing work, writing report of the work, supervision, inspection and day to day visitation of the
site

Lecturing - I teach over 430 students per semester. This is because I teach four departments; Building,
Estate and Property Values, Quantity Surveying, Urban and Regional Planning

*I hold the position of Exam Officer for my Department. On behalf of my department, I organise the
exams every semester, allocate courses for the lecturers, prepare lecture time table, In collaboration
with the Head the Head of Department, I fix dates for seminars, defence, workshop, presentations etc.

*I teach Master degree students. Currently I'm teaching 13 Masters students in my department and 47
from other departments.

*I have four publications and two more has been accepted for publication. It will be out by Mid July
