Guardmax RP
Metalworking Corrosion Inhibitor - Mixed Amine Borate
Applications
Guardmax RP is a non-foaming, water-soluble corrosion inhibitor for cast iron, steel, and non-
ferrous metals such as aluminium and copper.
Guardmax RP is recommended for use in alkaline systems only, and as a replacement for
sodium nitrite in cutting and grinding fluids.
Guardmax RP is an extremely effective corrosion inhibitor for aerosol formulations containing
water, and on ferrous metals when used at a minimum concentration of 1% by weight.
Features
• Useful in aqueous alkaline systems where zero foam is required.
• Does not contain
Non-foaming, nitrites,
mixed amine chromates,
borate. phosphates, or azole chemistries.

Storage
Drums should be stored in a well ventilated, cool and dry location, away from direct sunlight and
weather.
Shelf Life
One (1) year from date of manufacture providing product is stored unopened under optimum
conditions as described above.
Packaging
227 net poly drums, and 1040 litres net IBCs.
