INTRODUCTION:-
  What is leadership?
     Leadership is the act of directing and motivating a group or individual to
     achieve a specific objective. Leaders inspire people to take the steps
     necessary for success. To be a successful leader, you must first learn and
     build the necessary talents.
  What are the various skills that a good and effective leader
     should have?
     Some of the core skills that a leader should have are as follows:-

 Why is leadership important?
    Good leadership is required in all companies. Organizations that are well-led
    are more productive, competitive, and adaptable to change. Their staff are
    more engaged and driven because they have a clearer perspective of where
    they are going and why. Organizations that thrive in developing leaders tend
    to be more profitable in the long run.
 How to be a better leader?
    To be a better leader one must try inculcating the following:-

Leadership assessment and Development plan of an individual.
QUESTION:-
Students to assess their own leadership skills and those of their team members (if
any for project). You can then create individualized development plans to improve
their leadership capabilities, focusing on areas of improvement.
    How do I assess myself as a leader?
       One can assess themselves using the following criterias:-
      Assess goals and achievements
      Assess strengths and weaknesses.
      Assess values and ethics.
      Assess your feedback process.
      Assess personal growth and advancement opportunities.
      Check your matching traits with those from above.
    What are advantages of self-assessment and learning leadership
     skills?
       Self-assessment can help one in several ways. It is incredibly important to
       self-assess yourself time and again to know your strengths and weakness and
       improve on your flaws. There is no better way to assess yourself but to self-
       assess because nobody understands oneself better than their own self. And
       self-assessing and making sure that one is a good leader is also important as
       it makes one know how capable they are or if they need improvement since
       self-assessment in any criteria will only bring one more self-confidence.
     MY SELF ASSESSMENT ON LEADERSHIP:-
     ASSESSING MY GOALS AND ACHEIEVEMENTS:-
    I have always been incredibly focused and hardworking.
    I like organization and tidiness.
    I am a good student and have been having good grades consistently.
    I have one many literary competitions and am good at all three speaking,
     listening and writing.
    I have won many spell bee and elocution and poetry and prose writing as
     well as debate competitions.
    I have always been known for my writing and speaking skills.
    My long term goal is to secure a Ph.D in my subject out interest and short
     term goal is to keep the consistency with my grades and keep participating
     in more and more activities and competition.
    I play sports like tennis and badminton.
    I have also won prizes in the following sports along with indoor sports like
     carrom.
    I am incredibly insightful and consistent towards my life and think that my
     achievements and consistency make me a good leader.
ASSESSING MY STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:-
    Strengths:-
    Adaptability
    Agility
    I am creative and innovative and hence am good at writing proses as well as
     poetry.
    I have incredibly good communication skills and am good at relationship
     building.
    I am good at making quick and effective decisions.
    I like working in a team and being a team player.
    I am incredibly organized and tidy and hence am good at management.
    I also am a tutor and hence am good at teaching and guiding.
  I am incredibly patient and hold accountability and responsibility for all my
   actions.
  I am an optimistic, grateful and appreciative person.
  Weaknesses:-
  I am a little emotional.
  I am not very good at negotiations.
  I like planning and plotting and not spontaneity.
ASSESSING VALUES AND ETHICS:-
  I am a very morally driven and ethical and cultural being.
  I do the right and stand against the wrong and hate immorality or
   inhumanity.
  I am righteous and do not believe in cheating or deceiving.
  I am incredibly honest and focused and would never put myself in a place
   where I am guilty or regretful.
ASSESING MY FEEDBACK PROCESSES:-
  I am incredibly open to constructive criticism and always make sure to take
   feedbacks from the people around me because I think it is incredibly
   important to know how you are seen by others especially your close ones
   and the ones that you meet and be with every day.
  There is a lot that we might not know about our own selves and of how we
   are perceived by others and feedbacks and assessments help us know
   ourselves better.
  I think it is very important to take feedback and improve yourself in areas
   that may genuinely help you and make you grow into a better person than
   you already are.
  To both give and take constructive criticism is incredibly important because
   together we learn and together we grow.
ASSESING PERSONAL GROWTH AND ADVANCEMENT
OPPORTUNITES:-
    I am hardworking and consistent and believe that success can only be
     achieved by working hard and working towards your goals consistently.
    I am learning new things in the environment of the university and am opting
     for and studying subjects from not only my field of psychology but also
     others like English, Travel and Tourism, Economics and Management.
    I believe in constantly growing and learning to things and think that
     opportunities will surely be coming my way through my years of studying
     and I'll be ready to grab them.
MATCHING MY TRAITS FROM THOSE OF A LEADER:-
I have checked, matched and compared them from those of a leader from as
mentioned above and can see that I can very well make a good and reformative
leader. I am a little emotional, not very good at negotiations and also dislike
spontaneity but like I said I am constantly growing and am working on improving
my flaws. I like working hard towards my goals and am driven and consistent. I
think I will make a great leader if given the opportunity of doing so and will do
really well for not only myself but also my teammates and together we will reach
great heights.
ASSESSING MY TEAMMATES:-
DURRIYAH:-
   Assessment:-
    Durriyah is immaculately good at problem solving and decision making but
    isn't very patient and is aggressive
   Solution:-
    Durriyah can be taught to be patient and helped in controlling her anger so
    that her anger doesn't get the best of her and her immaculate skills help the
    team achieve its goals with ease and efficiency of her problem solving and
    decision making skills.
SAKSHI:-
   Assessment:-
    Sakshi is very creative and innovative but isn't very good at communication
    and is hesitant while communicating and speaking out her ideas.
   Solution:-
    Sakshi can be asked of her opinion every time required so that Sakshi feels
    heard and valued in the team and is free and open when putting forth her
    innovative, unique and creative ideas.
DHRUV:-
   Assessment:-
    Dhruv is very good at communication and active listening but isn't very
    good at accepting criticism and is offended when a view contradicting his is
    put forth.
   Solution:-
    Since Dhruv is already good at communication and active listening he
    should be taught and shown to be able to communicate in cases of clash and
    try and steer clear of problems than being offended with the other person's
    views and causing conflict.
