Guide questions for the creation of health career plan:
1. What are my short term and long term education and career goals?
- My short term goals are passing the incoming periodical exams and studying for it so I
can pass. And my long term goals for education is graduating college with my chosen
course and finding a decent job to train myself before entering my career.
2. Why did I choose these goals?
- I chose them because I know that these goals will help me improve my skills and widen
my knowledge on how things work and what I’m supposed to do when I’m already on the
job.
3. What education/training is required for me to achieve my goals ?
- The education that I need to have is a bachelor’s degree of Journalism or Mass
communication. Other than that I have to talk with conviction, confidence, and purpose,
also I need to have excellent writing and vocal communication abilities. Interpersonal
skills: News anchors collaborate with a group of reporters and news employees.
4. What institutions or facilities provide this training?
- For education a school with a good profile in the field of Communication would do. And
also maybe applying to be an intern in a company that can train my communication skills
like a call center agent.
5. Which Constitution or facility is most appropriate to my education and training?
- As a student a school is probably the most appropriate as of now that I’m still studying
either way if I finish studying I could consider applying for a company that can provide
the things that I need.
6. What courses will take in grade 11 and 12 to prepare me for my education and training?
- As I stated earlier based form my research I should study with HUMSS strand or also
known as Humanities and Social Sciences. Together with a degree in either Journalism
or Mass communication on college.
7. What co-curricular, volunteer, or community experiences will help me achieve my goals?
- I need to experience talking with people in a formal way at the same time in a confident
and respectful manner even if we’re strangers. In school I could also volunteer to talk in
front like in reporting and verbal presentations.
8. What do I do to achieve my goals?
- What I have to do is study hard, pass the exams, and graduate and while doing that I
could also start saving money so I can provide my needs while achieving my goal. Like
buying required books, notebooks, and other educational materials that I need to learn
and achieve my career goal.
9. What are the potential challenges I mag face in the achievement of my goals?
- Even if I can feel confident and comfortable speaking in large audiences, there are still
times that I may feel nervous before going to talk so that’s the first thing that I need to
face which is nervousness and stage freight.
10. What will I do to meet these challenges?
- When I’m being nervous I could distract myself or study what I’m gonna say again and
again so I’ll he prepared because the audience can ask me a question. And also practice
my vocals so I will be able to speak louder and clear.
11. What is my timeline for achieving my goals?
- Let’s say since I’m 16 and at g10 moving up then g11 and 12 so 2 years and 4 years for
my college degree. Adding my training that may take a year or 2 I’ll say 8 years from
now I expect myself to achieve my goals by then.
12. How will I monitor my success as I work to achieve my goals over the next _ years?
- I can monitor my success as I work to achieve my goals over the next 8 years by
recording the achievements I accomplished and also my failures that I made. At the same
time remembering to always be humble on whatever success I achieve. And to remember
where I started and how I succeed.
