ABOUT SCOE
Sinhgad College of Engineering (SCOE) was established in the year 1996 offering 10 degree courses which are
approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), accredited by National Assessment and
accreditation Council (NAAC), ‘A+’ Grade and National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi and affiliated to
Savitribai Phule Pune University. This institute has about 75 Acres campus. This expanse of land, which is at
picturesque hill top looking over a scenic beauty of western part of Pune City and is pollution free. It is the
youngest institute in Maharashtra to start Ph.D. programs.

Competition Name: Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing
Competition Overview:
This competition is designed to test knowledge and skills of participants about the Geometrical
Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T). It consists of Online Test round and Interview round.
Maximum 2 Participants per team are allowed however one student can also participate.
Round 1 – Online Test (50 Marks)
Eligibility:
SAE valid student members are eligible to participate.

Participants shall enroll before GD &T session.
Duration: Duration of online test is 1 Hour
Question Format: The online test will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) each question
carries 1 mark.
Evaluation: Each correct answer will get 1 mark. No negative marking.
Cheating: Participants found guilty of cheating will be disqualified from the event.
Round 2 – Interview (20 Marks)
Eligibility: Top 15 scorers in the Online test will qualify for the interview round and will be
communicated by mail.
Interview Format: The interview will be conducted by a panel of experts and will assess the
participant’s understanding of GD&T concepts, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
Duration: Approximately 10-15 minutes.
General Rules and Guidelines:
Technology: Participants must ensure the availability stable internet connection and necessary
arrangements required for the online test and interview.
Communication: All official communication related to the event will be through email.
Results: Results will be communicated to participants after completion of the interview round.
Last Date of registration is 20th August 2024.
Prizes:
Winner : 5,000 (Five Thousand Rupees)
First Runner Up : 3,000 (Three Thousand Rupees)
Second Runner Up : 2,000 (Two Thousand Rupees)
Certificate will be provided to all registered participants.
